The Research and Statistics Department (RSD) provides useful and timely data/ insights to support NEA’s formulation and review of policies, programmes and operations, with regard to the environment and environmental sustainability.

As Assistant Manager/ Manager/ Executive Manager in RSD, you will be involved in the following:

• Conduct surveys and statistical research.

• Manage the planning and implementation of surveys, from sampling, questionnaire design, fieldwork to data processing.

• Analyse collated data to derive insights and propose recommendations.

• Apply data science techniques on datasets to derive deeper insights.

• Provide statistical advice to internal stakeholders.

• Perform environment scanning on the latest sustainability and environmental trends.

The job might be for you if you possess the following:

• Background or work experience in the fields of Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Behavioural Science or related fields.

• Proficiency in programming, e.g. R, Python, etc.

• Strong interest and skills in conducting data analysis and data visualisation.

• Possess good writing and communication skills.

• Demonstrate a keen interest in environmental issues.

• Able to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

Job Responsibilities:

The tutor is to conduct his or her duties in a professional manner. He or she must provide syllabus guidance, review of weak concepts, timed exam practices, and targeted homework and feedback to each student.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking full-time tutors for IB/IGCSE Science. One should have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Good attitude and sense of responsibility
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to teach both individual and group classes
• Able to create resources
• Tutors should ideally have relevant experience teaching English at IB, IGCSE, and/or MYP level
• This full-time position requires tutors who are based in Singapore and can teach in person only.

1. Routine laboratory testing on raw materials or finished products, media preparation and non-routine testing (special projects)

2. Set up and maintain bacteria culture and mammalian cell culture based on available SOP/ protocols.

3. Perform various microbiology, cell-based and biochemical/ molecular biology in vitro and ex vivo assays for various projects

4. Perform routine lab housekeeping

Requirement

• Min. Diploma in Science or related disciplines, microbiology background will be preferred.

• A team player with out-going personality, a passion for research and is detail-oriented at work.

• Good organizational, communication and coordination skill to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.

• Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software

• Oversee the design, construction, and qualification of new sterilization areas to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety.
• Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet stakeholder needs and gather project-related information.
• Ensure facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and staff are trained.
• Coordinate with qualified persons (QP) and consultants during design, permitting, and construction phases.
• Provide consultation on facility equipment and incorporate pollution control strategies.
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and explosion-proof assessments for sterilization system installations.
• Prepare tenders, evaluate bids, and award contracts.
• Qualify new construction based on company standards.
• Follow up with QP to ensure regulatory compliance and permits.
• Minimize disruptions to existing production and business during construction and demolition.
• Design, purchase, and integrate sterilization system equipment to ensure functionality.
