Job Summary
The Operator is responsible for the overall daily operation of natural gas processing facilities and related equipment including reciprocating compressors, slug catchers, dehydration skids, engines, motors, instrumentation, pumps, and pipelines. The position will support pipeline and compressor station construction as needed.
Performs routine and structured work assignments. Contributes to tasks within a team, function, or work group. Basic knowledge of processes for the assigned work. Exercises limited independent judgment, relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under direct supervision. This position will report to the Douglas, WY field office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events.
Requires the operation of Company vehicles. Operator must drive safely to and from wells and well sites, maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies.
Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
Complete operational checks of assigned equipment. Identify changes in performance and control inlet/outlet volumes. Execute start up and shut down procedures.
Perform minor maintenance of equipment. Communicate corrective maintenance needs if unable to complete.
Analyze facility related problems and work with Foreman or other Lease Operators to resolve.
Execute normal pipeline maintenance procedures (pigging operations)
Coordinate with gas sales, field production operations, and third-party operations as required.
General lease site upkeep and maintenance (fences, signs, weeds, trash, etc.)

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver’s License.
May require the ability to pass a respiratory fit test.
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended period of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions
Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance.
Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous Chemicals, and Hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
