Job Responsibilities :
Account Management
- Develop relationships with existing customers and service their needs accordingly.
- Work with the Sales Administration team to ensure customer SOPs are in place and where necessary amend/create new SOPs to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure Sales reports are produced each month and analysis is done accordingly. Customer buying and selling trends are to be presented accordingly as well as general market observations.
- Work with the Customer Service department to ensure complaints are dealt with efficiently. Where necessary work together to make decisions that are satisfactory for both the customer and BSSB.
Market Research (Product, Trends, And Standards) And Planning
- Identify product trends (i.e. designs/colors/styles) and market trends (buying / financial) and gather information to be presented and used when strategizing on Sales direction
- Identify potential opportunities and threats to be considered when executing the marketing plan for the region.
Sales
- Formulate a Sales plan based on the Market research. This should be presented with timelines in mind and potential sales generation. This should be considered in conjunction with the revenue targets set by the Senior Management.
- Generate new leads identify new customers and sales potential within the region and make contact accordingly to set up meetings.
- Familiarise yourself with the product. Understand the construction and the quality standards clearly. Equip yourself with the knowledge to sell the product with confidence.
- Work closely with the R&D department to develop products by the required costs and target prices as required by the market/customer.
- As part of the Business Development Team, you will be required to work with and contribute to the design direction for the BSSB collections year to year. This will be based on your Market research and discussions with customers on Market trends.
- Overseas travel where necessary to meet with customers and set up/close sales.
Customer Service
- Ensure the customer service levels are agreed upon with customers and considered when making quotations.
Job Requirements
- Must possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Marketing or equivalent.
- Proven experience in market development particularly if it's in the furniture industry or related fields will be an added advantage
- At least 7-8 years (s) of working experience in a managerial position in a manufacturing background preferably from the furniture industry.
- Fast learner and adaptable to changes in a dynamic business Company.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong communication skills and organization skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to work at Klang Utama, Klang.
