JOB SUMMARY

Provides ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of properties on behalf of our corporate clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates the negotiation of sales through a field broker. Negotiates leases and lease amendments. Monitors lease expirations. Negotiates lease renewals within prescribed timeline. Locates and acquires new properties to meet client's requirements and timeline. Disposes of surplus properties within prescribed timeline.

Understands how to review, analyze, and interpret financial analysis templates including book and cash flow projections, NPV (net present value), and/or IRR (internal rate of return) financial analyses to enable clients to make more informed decisions.

Works closely with CBRE and/or client's Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance/Accounting teams to ensure integration between the service lines.

Closely tracks all transaction activity (commissionable and non-commissionable), prepares commission forecasts and vouchers, and accounts for all savings results achieved on behalf of clients.

Monitors and maintains a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion. Prepares reports and makes presentations to relevant parties.

Adheres to all state real estate agency requirements. Ensures compliance with CBRE's corporate policies as they relate to identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest.

Resolves landlord and tenant disputes.

The Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) Information Manager is responsible for managing all information and documentation aspects of the global offshore wind business OFTO divestment process.

The OFTO Transaction Information Manager together with the team of OFTO Transaction Managers and OFTO Transaction Cost Manager will manage the OFTO divestment process for Iberdrola and will develop and maintain relationships with both the regulator, Ofgem and the Project Teams to ensure that the maximum value is recovered through the sale process.

The OFTO Transaction Information Manager will be working as part of a global business with activities in many countries across Europe and the rest of the world. The position may require frequent travel to various locations in the UK.

Key Tasks

• The Information Manager will be responsible to set the principles and procedures for the exchange of information and documentation between Scottish Power Renewables and Ofgem via Ofgem’s data room including approval process requirements and revision monitoring.
• Develop the document management plan and update it, as needed.
• Maintain organizational documents and the document management system.
• The information manager will be responsible to ensure the right data in the right format is delivered in line with the OFTO Transaction timeline requirements.
• Ensure that the right data, in the right format is delivered to meet the project and OFTO Transaction timescales.
• Set the processes and procedures required to manage data and data validation.
• Coordinate the document controller resources.
• Provide, review and quality check metadata for electronic files in SharePoint document repositories and document work sites.
• Create a transmittal process for distribution of incoming and outgoing documentation.
• Coordinate and conduct extensive analysis of large document reviews.

Key Criteria

• Experience in document management and document management systems or content management systems software, ideally Aconex, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.
• Data room and document management coordination experience
• Strong Communication skills
• Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills

Transaction Services Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for a Transaction Services Assistant Manager who will lead the High Value Cash Associates and Transaction Assistants to deliver exceptional service to the Retail team, as a first line of support to colleagues, in processing large and complex transactions.

About the Role

The Assistant Manager in this team will take accountability for learning the intricacies of AML and  high value cash processes to lead our team of High Value Cash Associates in delivering excellent face to face service with our customers and make decisions informed by legal governance.

They are expected to coach their team in service delivery and  set  the  stan dard  in  completing due diligence to inform expert decision making and ensure the business is protected from risk.

About You

As a people first leader, you will easily engage with your own team and support the department manager in setting objectives to guide strategy, and motivate others to deliver on quality measures and KPI’s to deliver an exceptional customer journey.

You will also:

• Complete AML training and qualification to advance risk management skills and make accountable business decisions

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform daily cash and stock reconciliation on allocated portfolios, proactively investigate discrepancies and timely follow up of queries arising from internal stakeholders, outsourced middle office service provider, clients, counterparties, custodians and fund administrators
• Maintain ownership of daily cash and stock breaks and proactively follow up with respective teams for breaks resolution
• Review monthly valuation reports and perform NAV reconciliation
• Work with outsourced service provider to ensure timely processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate action events across all markets. This includes gold copy validation and creation, sending of election instruction, event processing and settlement and resolving reconciliation breaks
• Oversight of outsourced middle office service provider, proxy voting provider, security lending agent and tax reclaim partner
• Regularly update internal procedure to ensure that they remain current and relevant
• Perform on-going review of existing processes to ensure control and oversight on middle office service provider remains robust and efficient
• Collaborate with other teams, functions and entities to identify opportunities and drive changes for new and improved workflows and deliver service excellence
• Act as the main liaison point to manage change requests and ad hoc queries raised by stakeholders
• Proactively respond to queries from all stakeholders and manage expectation, develop and maintain relationship

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years of relevant working experience in reconciliation, fund accounting or corporate action related role
• Subject matter expert for reconciliation and/or corporate action
• Familiar with SWIFT messaging
• Strong understanding of end-to-end asset management operations, particularly in fundamental of reconciliation and client reporting or corporate action and income events
• Strong understanding of operational risk and control framework
• Excellent and proven verbal and written communication skill
• Proficient using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Prior experience of Aladdin is preferred
• Meticulous, with good attention to details
• Ability to see “big picture” and challenge status quo
• Strong team player
• Able to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
