Air Liquide Healthcare Australia are a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services. We specialise in respiratory diseases and have a strong reputation in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy.
The role
As the Service Technician you will be trained to repair, calibrate and service homecare and medical gas equipment. An important function of this role is to recycle rental equipment through a thorough Quality Control process so that our next customer can safely use the goods. Some short travel in and around Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs will be expected.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Competent in servicing various devices such as Concentrators, Pressure Regulators, CPAP machines and other relevant medical equipment
Carry out performance, reliability and safety tests of medical equipment as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Quality checks on incoming devices, according to SOP
Service and repair medical equipment according to SOP
Stocktake maintenance
Openness to maintain training and accreditation e.g. new/update on a product/model
Safework mindset, participate in initiatives to drive positive change within the workplace

Willingness to learn as all training will be provided in-house
Ability to solve practical problems
Prioritise workloads and business demands
Effective communicator: ability to read/interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety, SOPs and procedure manuals etc
Ability to lift up to 25 kgs and use of trolley to transport goods
Basic computer skills: Google suite, and other software applications appropriate to the role
Valid Australian Open Driver’s licence. Confidence and experience to drive a manual vehicle

Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000
