We are looking for a Test Engineer – Vehicle to support in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects or inconsistencies in the railway's functionality, user interface, and performance.

Responsibilities:

· Assure sites are properly stocked with installation and test tools. And test tools are periodically calibrated per BT standards.

· Participate in the Factory Acceptance Testing in the lab and preparation of FAT plan.

· Undertake site commissioning activities of radio-based train control systems, including Functional tests and System Acceptance Test (SAT) and System Integration Test (SIT) and ensure that all interfaces to the signalling system are appropriately tested.

· Undertake test and commissioning of the On-Board, Wayside, and Radio system system

· Liaise with Engineering / supplier for any design changes and modifications necessary subject to test results

· Record, report, and endorse test results when appropriate.

· Ensuring that testing activities are carried out in timely, logical and cost effective manners.

· Work with Engineering team for the evolution of drawings (ie. mark-up, change order, and transmittals) until the as-build stage.

· Develop productive relationships with client’s teams to ensure successful handover and post-implementation operation of projects.

· Plan and schedule site ITC activities in accordance to the rolling programme, that align with the master programme

· Produce red correction based on the released drawings and

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement projects and tasks as directed by Management to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and improve quality, environmental, and water efficiency systems.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, and ISO 46001 standards.
• Stay informed on company policies, environmental impacts, safety assessments, and security risks.
• Conduct internal and support external audits, including customer and vendor audits.
• Monitor and report on quality-related costs in production.
• Manage calibration and upkeep of x-ray equipment, ensuring cleanliness and monthly reporting.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in engineering or quality assurance.
• Experience in supplier management and product qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and proficiency in Minitab or JMP is a plus.
• Familiarity with 8D problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone diagram, 5-Why)
• knowledge of ISO17025 or ISO13485

Job Description:

• Responsible for pre & post sales requirements of Power Quality products

(preparing technical documents & commercial proposals)

• Provides technical support to distributors and key account customer for troubleshooting, onsite testing and commissioning

• Provides trainings to distributors and customers to enhance their capabilities

• Responsible for design-in (spec-in) of products with the distributor in the appointed territory and market segments, achieve yearly design-in targets

• Lookout for opportunities to cross out competitor part

• Coordinate PQ Application and On-site Measurement Services in line with the company strategy

• Maintains good relationship with both end-users, local distributors, external test laboratories and build customer loyalty through field visits

• Maintenance of existing customers base and achieve development of new potential

customers.

• Effective use of CRM/CAS system to record key activities, including customer visit/call reports and opportunities

• Able to communicate and work well with internal departments.

Job Requirements:

• Possess fundamental PQ Harmonic knowledge and application.

• Basic knowledge of EMC / EMI compliance is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering or other relevant majors

• Prefer minimum 3 years technical experience in the field of industrial products

• Able to operate common test equipment like voltage meter, clamp meter, oscilloscope, analyzer, etc.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Well-versed in basic MS Office tools (eg. Word, Excel) and SAP (preferred)

• Interpersonal savvy

• Good follow up and consultative approach attitude

• Able to work independently and resourceful

Role and Responsibilities

Quality Systems

1. Supports overall maintenance of quality systems

2. Monitor and reports on the quality performance for Asia Operations such as product quality performance, supplier performance and gaps for continuous improvement to the management team

3. Maintains the Mastercontrol and ISO document control system

4. Maintains customer related documents such as Quality Agreement, PPAP

5. Part of the Global Quality Team, to design and implementation of global policies and systems

Quality Policies

6. Ensures effective implementation of all company quality policies

7. Implements ISO and other recognized standards

8. Implements and monitors statistical techniques such as R&R’s to identify opportunities for improvement.
