Job Description:
• Assist Building Manager in the daily operations.
• Supervise, plan and organize a team of on-site contractors in carrying out planned and ad-hoc maintenance works.
• Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
• Supervise upgrading projects, if required
• Carry out regular inspection to the facilities and systems and ensure their functionality and reliability.
• Communicate well in English (both spoken and written) and is expected to establish good working rapport with stakeholders.
• Ensure contractors carry out works in accordance with contract requirements, including evaluation of contractors’ performance and review of contract specifications.
• Follow up with term contractors on defects rectification after servicing work.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

• Minimum NITEC in any field
• Minimum 3 years in M&E and familiar with research lab will be advantage

• Supervise the contractors in the maintenance of Civil Defence fixtures, cleaning service, refuse disposal, pest control, minor works and landscaping so as to ensure that the facilities and equipment are operated and maintained to meet the safety, reliability and availability standards of SBS Transit
• Lead a team of technicians in providing building maintenance and repairs in supporting station operations
• Supervise the contractors and ensure that they deliver the service according to the agreement
• Participate in the investigation of major fault or failure of Building/Civil Structure or equipment

• Assist in field test and system implementation of modification works initiated internally or by LTA
• Assist engineer in the investigation of incident, major fault or failure of building related facilities and services and develop preventive actions
• Participate in utilities conservation initiatives
• Supervise inhouse minor work technicians to carry out building minor works as instructed by superior

Requirements:

• Possess a polytechnic Diploma in any M&E or Building Services Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Preferably with some relevant experience in building and M&E services maintenance in a railway environment
• Possess good communication skills, leadership skills and computer literate
