Our client based in Poole has an immediate requirement for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their quality team, to champion both Product & Process Quality at an operational level, supporting in the achievement of company objectives and targets.

The general duties will include:


- Provide Quality support within the manufacturing facility to achieve the Quality objectives and reduce the cost of poor Quality.
- Hands on approach toward technical resolution in all applicable instances of non-conformance
- Facilitate the successful completion of the internal auditing program.
- Ensure that ISO 9001 requirements are understood and adhered to across the business.
- Assist in promoting a Quality awareness culture throughout the business.
- Drive supplier Quality improvement activities

- Participate in key NPI projects, ensuring Quality conformance.
- Support the Quality Inspection team in the analysis of quality inspection data and review the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.
- Coordinate the completion of PPAP within the business.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and reporting activities.


The ideal candidate will be a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to producing top quality work every time. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:


- Degree / HNC / NVQ or higher in a Quality/Engineering or technical subject or relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of / competent use of investigative techniques; Internal Auditing, 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa and other Lean measurement tools
- Knowledge of / competent use in APQP project processes; DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans and Process Flow Mapping
- Knowledge of / competency in Supplier related Quality Practices and Processes; PPAP, ISIR and Supplier Quality Assessments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 6 months + relevant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Computer/ Microsoft software literate
- Full Driving License


There is an immediate start available for this full-time, permanent, office-based position. We are able to offer a starting salary of between £38k - £40k per annum (dependent on experience) plus competitive benefits. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 am till 17:00 pm / Friday 08:00 am till 12:30 pm, this is 37.5 hours per week.

Our client based in Bournemouth has a requirement for an experienced Quality Manager to join and lead the company’s quality department. You will be required to provide strong leadership and strategic planning to develop, implement and maintain the quality assurance processes that support the business mission and ongoing continuous improvement for the site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with all members of staff to achieve the targeted improvement goals.
- To proactively assume responsibility for any quality issues that may arise, liaising between the Business Unit and the customer where necessary.

- Planning and conducting internal audits for all areas/functions within ISO9001 Quality System. Conducting project specific audits where applicable in conjunction with customer’s Quality Assurance Representative.
- Appraising Executive Management of quality deficiencies including major Quality problems
- Working with suppliers to ensure agreed quality standards are met.
- Generation, Presentation and/or approval of Quality Plans/Statements for projects/products. Assistance with other documentation such as Procurement Specifications, Procurement Conditions, proposals etc. Provide Quality Engineering support to projects and contracts as required.

Applicants must have recent experience in quality at a similar management level, you will also require an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Quality Management Systems (QMS.), a thorough understanding of the requirements of BS EN ISO9001:2015, knowledge of product specific approval requirements (ATEX, FM, MET etc.), experience of working with 8D reports, root cause analysis and Corrective Action Planning, knowledge of Lean/Sigma Business Improvement tools and techniques and KPI development and management.

This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start available for the right candidate; the working hours are Mon - Thurs 8.00 am till 17.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am ‐ 13.00 pm (39 hours).

- Support QC Officer with raw material testing, release and Quarantine area issues, where required.
- Support supplier complaints, managing samples for evaluation and investigation results, and liaise with Central Supplier Management teams to address and resolve issues.
- Facilitate the implementation of an ‘Audit Ready’ complaint site which is always ready for MHRA, ISO9001, FEMAS, UFAS, FSSC and other internal or 3rd party audits.
