Job Summary: As an event nurse you will be part of the medical provision at operational events covered by St. John Ambulance Cymru. You will often be the initial healthcare professional to attend patients in the pre-hospital setting, usually working within a treatment centre, first aid post or on an ambulance. You will be expected to work autonomously where appropriate and often alongside a wider multidisciplinary team. Volunteering is at the core of the charity and at most events you will be assisted by St. John Ambulance Cymru volunteers. As appropriate, assess, manage and discharge patients. Where required, administer medications in line with professional scope of practice and in adherence with St. John Ambulance Cymru medicines management policy. Meet the standards set out in the St. John Ambulance Cymru healthcare professionals and clinical practice policy and completion of the Nurse/Midwife passport. Maintain up to date with continual professional development and the requirements of the HCPC. Maintain ability to operate in line with HCPC standards of proficiency. Maintain accurate clinical records in line with St. John Ambulance Cymru policy and procedures. Drive the organisations vehicles in accordance with the vehicle and driving policy, where appropriate. On commencement of duty, check all relevant equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and ready for use, report any defects to the event manager. Assist with the induction and mentorship of new staff and volunteers as required. Maintain professional registration with the health and care professions council. Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by St. John Ambulance Cymru management. Job Functions:

• Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event

• Resolve guest complaints or problems
• Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity
• Provide assistance to with guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations
• Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
• May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas
• Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue
• Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a guest service role, strongly preferred

• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
•    Locking/unlocking doors and gates at designated times.
•    Screening all persons seeking access to ticketed and/or secure areas.
•    Providing crowd control.
•    Patrolling the property and monitoring for unwanted, unsafe, or suspicious behavior.
•    Assisting guests with questions and providing directions.
•    Assisting with the setup of perimeter fences and barricades.  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred.

•  LEO experience.

•  Alabama state certified LEO.

JOB SUMMARY:

Budweiser Stage is seeking an Event Staff Supervisor. The Event Staff Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Ushers & Ticket Takers within the venue. Duties may also include additional functions under the direction of the Event Staff Manager and/or Operations Manager. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Direct and supervise Ushers/Ticket Takers and other employees performing similar services as directed by the Event Staff Manager or Operations Manager. Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.
• Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with provincial and municipal law and help to find coverage.
• Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all health safety regulations.
• Oversee productivity and work assignments of the Ushers and Ticket Takers and communicate with management (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Venue Management team
• Enforce health & safety and support other departments with this primary function

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of customer service experience in a live event setting
• Valid Smart Serve Certificate
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

• Perform event-related asset tasks: pull, restock, inspect, and clean assets; protect for transport and storage; pick-up/deliver vendor products

• Participate in event production, installation/tear down and loading/unloading of vehicles as needed
• Operate company trucks, vans and lifts, notify management of gas and maintenance needs

• Ensure that venues/MREP studio is clean and orderly, tools are maintained and equipment is properly stored after use: report loss, theft, or damage
• Properly pack, unpack and check goods against orders and handle inventory to protect against damage

• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks is seeking several Community Aide/Event Staff to assist our Special Facilities Division with logistical management or operations of various private events such as birthday parties, live music and social galas. The selected candidates will be on a list of event staff who will be notified when work is available and can select to work up to 25 hours per week. Evening and weekend hours will be required. They will be responsible for event set-up and break down. The Event Staff receives, disseminates, enforces rules, regulations and protocols of events as well as maintains, distributes and accounts for materials, equipment and supplies. THE JOB

The Event Staff and Security at the Xfinity Center is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, crowd control, searches at our entrance gates, and helping to maintain a high level of safety at our venue. This role is to support competitive proposal bids as a Proposal Writer, working directly with Capture Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical and Management Volume Leads to develop work products to meet solicitation requirements. Candidate will be responsible for leading and providing proposal expertise to all Lines of Business, to include Defense, Intelligence, Civil, and Health. The Proposal Writer should have a proven successful track record on large, complex bids.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to document, write, and articulate solutions and corporate experience against proposal requirements.

• Assignments will include, but are not limited to, leading written responses to technical, management, corporate experience, staffing rationale, resumes, and transition sections. Ability to understand RFP requirements and respond with compliant and compelling solutions.

THE JOB 

• Ensure the safety of the both guests and venue/tour staff
• Assist in pat down, searches, wanding, and ticket scanning of anyone who enters the venue. Also, operating detection devices (walk thru metal detectors and wands) as needed
• Search bags, purses, wristlets, etc. for non-permitted items
• Be aware of any suspicious items
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, ability to make independent and good judgement decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and lifting and carrying 30 lbs+
• Control any unruly patron who might cause harm to anyone
• Provide a safe environment for guests and staff member
• Help with the removal of any debris after the guests have exited the venue
• Follow all state and local health guidelines as directed by the CDC
• Working in an outside rain or shine event venue
• Displaying the "Heart of Service" positive attitude
