Job Description

Administer and guide road and runway construction initiatives from planning to completion

Oversee construction site workers and subcontracting team if any

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and compliance standards

Provide regular updates on road and runway construction project status including development and potential risks

Document any modifications in project specifications and scope of road or runway contruction work

Address disruptions, emergencies and complications promptly

Evaluate construction efficiency and timeline adherence and recommend improvement to any underperformance

Uphold and champion construction safety standards, cultivating a culture of safety at all times

Optimize material usage on site to prevent waste or excess stock

Manage effectively the usage of company resources and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize costs

Manage labour costs and overtime to maintain or reduce budgetary expenditures

Interface with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure overall satifaction

Requirementss

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent

At least 2-3 years experience in managing road or runway construction projects

• Assist and support Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of the project.
• Manage site activities, vendors and sub-contractors.
• To carry out site work in accordance construction program.
• Attend meeting, coordination, prepare works schedule & site supervision.
• Ensure smooth progress of site works.
• Responsible for all issues concern on site or ad-hoc duties as and when directed.

Requirements:

• Min 6 years' experience in construction supervision and co-ordination of site construction works for MRT or large-scale infrastructure.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment.

Job Description

· Drafting of engineering and shop drawing

· Coordinate with Project Manager, Project Team, Design Team and related person.

· Prepare and review rough sketch and review them allow with the Engineering team.

· Responsible for attending the meeting with consultants, contractors as part of project.

· Familiarity with 3D modeling tools is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

§ To assist SPM / PM on the project execution.

§ Prepare method of statement for projects, co-ordination with construction team and sub-contractors.

§ Prepare Schedule & Manpower, Equipment, Machinery & Consumables plan for site works.

§ To review and assist the Technical team for design and details as per site feasibility, and highlight the discrepancy between site and drawings.
