Pre-requisites:

• Passionate about continuous learning for both adults and children
• Skilful and knowledgeable with the various funding schemes from the public agencies, and the use of Training Partners Gateway (TPG) and online learning platforms such as Teachable and Udemy
• At least 4 years of hands-on working experience in curriculum development, education and training sector
• Independent and confident in using digital and web technologies to conduct trainings, webinars, seminars and etc
• Ability to write business and marketing proposals
• Has initiative, resourceful, good interpersonal skills, analytical, detail-oriented and creative in publicity
• Ability to follow through programmes and projects implementation
• Must possess the ACTA/ACLP and DACE qualifications and/or a Degree/Diploma in Early Years Education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Training & Development Manager (Electric Vehicles) located in Singapore. The Training & Development Manager will be responsible for the overall design, delivery and evaluation of training and development programs and initiatives for the electric vehicle industry. The Manager will also manage trainers and course developers, and work closely with other departments and business partners to ensure consistency and effectiveness of programs for all AKC learners.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Training & Development Manager (Electric Vehicles) encompass the following:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive, learner-centric training plans for Electric Vehicles.

2. Manage relationships with external training partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training programs. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and update training materials, ensuring relevance and accuracy.

3. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in electric vehicle technology to ensure training materials are up-to-date.

4. Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communication.

5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed.

6. Work closely with internal teams to align training programs with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of in-depth experience in Electric Vehicles (preferably hands-on experience)
• In-depth knowledge of Electric Vehicle technology and industry trends
• Experience in project and people management
• Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure
• Experience with e-learning tools and software
• Experience with technical writing and documentation
• Understanding of learning principles and theories, as well as emerging trends and technologies in training and development

Roles & Responsibilities

• To conduct abacus-mental arithmetic classes in group setting
• Engage and motive students in their learning process
• Proactively communicate with the parents on their child(ren) learning progress
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Equivalent
• Passionate in teaching and enjoy working with children
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to parents
• Team Player
• Able to work on weekdays evenings and weekends
• Teaching of abacus mental arithmetic experience is required
