Job Description:
- Maintain, review and implement financial and accounting policies to ensure compliance with company's policies and good governance, practice and standard.
- Perform analysis and provide accounting and other financial information in a timely manner to the management team for decision-making.
- Prepare and monitor daily cash flow planning, forecast and movement, and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operating requirements.
- Reviews financial statements, reconciliations, discrepancy findings and journal entries to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Combine quantitative and qualitative data & information and to provide suggestion to senior management to enhance operational control.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Conduct variance on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Oversee cost control processes specific to the automotive industry, including managing costs related to vehicle inventory, parts, and repairs.
- Monitor operation flow and process, and work closely with operations to ensure optimal inventory and fleet management.
- Oversee receivables, payables, and credit management, implementing strategies to reduce credit risks and optimize cash flow.
- Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, tax requirements, and automotive industry standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and managing audit findings.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities, ensuring team alignment with financial best practices and industry trends.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification (Chartered Accountant is a must)
- Prior experience in handling cash flow management across multiple entities and knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in managerial role within the automotive or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, and cost control principles in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and experience in managing stakeholder relationship.
