Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, policies, and protocols to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in civil construction projects.
• Review and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Manage field engineering activities, including site inspections, quality audits, and material testing, to verify compliance with design and construction standards.
• Oversee non-destructive evaluation (NDE) processes, including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, and visual inspections, to assess structural integrity and identify defects or deficiencies.
• Lead and coordinate QA/QC inspection activities throughout the construction lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to project completion, to ensure quality standards are met at every stage.
• Collaborate with project management teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets that incorporate QA/QC requirements and objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors on QA/QC-related matters, including interpretation of specifications and resolution of quality issues.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify quality concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage documentation and record-keeping processes related to QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, architects, clients, and regulatory authorities, to ensure alignment on QA/QC objectives, requirements, and expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant QAQC experience in the civil construction industries
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience managing field engineering, inspection, and NDE activities in a construction environment.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2016 requirements, applicable international standard/regulation requirements, and customer requirements
• Identify the gap in the QMS and make continuous improvements to ensure the effectiveness of QMS implementation and consistency with product and process requirements. Lead the training on procedures and practices to QMS requirements
• Lead the internal audit and customer audit, follow-up on audit non-conformance activities till closure
• Responsible for major customer projects and quality deliveries, handling product quality issues, and responding to major customer complaints and quality improvement
• Authorize the release of major customer products
• Manage and verify CAPA, NCR, SCAR handling, root cause analysis, and action taken
• Risk management, validation and verification activities
• Provide the necessary training, such as QMS, supplier management, design control, MSA, G R&G, 8D etc.
• Support on monthly quality objective and KPI review
• Support on Quality Management Review
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years of experience in quality management/ assurance and/or risk assessment in medical device industry
• Qualified lead auditor or ISO 13485:2016 internal auditor, be familiar with ISO 14971:2019, Cleanroom, and applicable regulatory and standards
