About the role
McConnell Dowell seeks an experienced QAQC Manager for our civil marine works in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the project management system.
- Ensuring the adherence to the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan.
- Provide advice and support to the Project Manager for the development, implementation, review and revision of the Project Execution Plan attachments.
- Interact with other Managers and Engineers to implement and coordinate the Project Execution Plan and attachments.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the Project Execution Plan and provide reports to management on quality performance and areas of improvement.
- Review subcontractor / supplier quality systems.
- Compile and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate on site quality assurance and control activities.
- Report on quality related matters to the Project Manager, including preparation of monthly summary reports
- Promote a quality awareness with project personnel.
- Audit subcontractors as necessary.
- Implement the project document control procedures.
- Control of non-conforming product, procedures and practices.
- Input into preparation of monthly reports.
- Any other duties as may be required by the Company.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have;
- Related qualifications and certifications in quality management for construction industry.
- Minimum 15 years quality management experience in civil marine works.
- Able to work alternate 6 days work week.
- Transport pickup at Tanah Merah MRT.
