Overall Job Objective

Manages and carries out the functions of sourcing and purchasing for the company.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Pharmacy) with at least 3 years of related experience in a healthcare.
• Fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Registered Pharmacist in Singapore would be a significant advantage.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical devices and products in the medical industry. Familiar with HSA requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement of spare parts, stores and lubricants for vessels.

This will cover the following duties & responsibilities:

1. Review requisition for spares, stores and lubricants from vessels and superintendents.

2. Based on these requisitions, prepare enquires and send to selected suppliers for quotations

3. Review quotations for correct offer. Seek clarification from suppliers or vessels, if necessarily

4. Pre-select the supplier offer based on:

a. Meeting requirement

b. Delivery schedule

10. Communicate with vessels to ensure items are delivered timely and ensure necessary documents are returned to office for processing.

11. Matching of PO, DO and invoices to ensure payment to suppliers are timely

12. Maintain up-to-date record and files for quick retrieval.

13. Perform supplier qualification and audit

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the procurement of all major equipment and/or materials for assigned projects. Ensures that project equipment and materials are purchased within budget, in accordance with all project specification requirements, and in accordance with required delivery schedules. Manage and mentor the team when necessary. The purpose of the Procurement Lead is to assist the PPM throughout the procurement lifecycle within the designated domain, e.g. Topside/Marine, etc. this involves understanding and flowing down teh requests from the PMT to subordinate sraff. • Conducts Bid Opening, prepares Bid Ranking, prepares bid clarification requests and issues to selected bidders and coordinates bidder clarification meetings ensuring process is conducted smoothly and with clarity
• Reviews Bid Evaluation with Project Team and identifies negotiation points; coordinates meetings and may lead commercial negotiations with selected bidder to ensure the best possible deal is secured
• Purchase Orders are developed and issued in conformance with standard Operating Procedures, Department Work Instruction, Ethical Code of Conduct and Quality System requirements. Negotiates and issues PO Change Orders as well as monitoring status reports
• Investigates and responds to Accounting’s invoice queries, addresses invoice discrepancies with Suppliers; administers, negotiates and documents Back Charges with Suppliers. Investigates and responds to Document Control’s queries on Vendor documentation.
• Works with suppliers to ensure that Corrective Action Request (CAR) responses are timely and results are satisfactory, and if necessary, administers and negotiates Warranty Claims with suppliers through claim resolution
• Performance evaluation of suppliers for each of the various types of equipment, materials and services is traceable and Supplier Performance Management System is utilized to provide timely feedback to suppliers
• Coordinate teh functions such as expediting, Inspection, logistics, and material control. Ensuring seamless coordination among these sections, the role involves overseeing a comprehensive spectrum of procurement activities and contributing to the efficient functioning of the overall procurement process.

Requirements/Qualification:

• Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, operations or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience with proven performance and knowledge of assigned components and services.
• Professional experience applying broad knowledge of principals and practices of purchasing or materials management.

Work Conditions

Most of the working time is in the office. Sometimes have to do site visits at to FPSO Integration sites, Fabrication Yards and suppliers’ premises. Sometimes need to travel for Yard visits, supplier meetings or assignment to a foreign work location.

Responsibilities:

• Performing purchasing of ships spares and stores, consumable items, crew’s gear, safety related equipment and other items in coordination with the Superintendents.
• Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and purchasing of ship spare parts, stores, equipment with local and global approved suppliers to meet the scheduled shipment.

Role Purpose

To procure equipment and/or bulk materials (Top side materials) for Suriname and GdM, ensuring they are purchased within budget, required time frame and reasonable Quality, in accordance with all project specification requirements, and in accordance with required delivery schedules. This involves coordination with external suppliers/sub-contractors to ensure products meet performance requirements. FEED:

8. Review Vendor quotation, prepare CBT and select Champion.

9. Organize the kick-off meeting and pre-inspection meeting with an inter-discipline collaboration; prepare interface list for package and client requirements.

10. Establish STC for purchasing.

11. Review EPCI Schedule related to the purchasing such as PO issue, Module Yard required date and Integration yard required date.

12. Establish Manning plan related to procurement organization.

13. Review shipment plan.

14. Review LL from the current EPCI works.

15. Review procurement system during EPCI stage such as SP-Mat..

16. Identify Planned carry over materials at Module yard.

17. Identify the preservation work at Module work.

EPCI works:

1. Follow up of all procurement issues for module engineering and close any outstanding issues as promptly as possible.

2. Review of approval status for vendor documents in line with client / contractor’s requirements.

3. Attend project meeting / follow up meeting with vendors, client, third party etc.

4. Witness critical factory acceptance tests (FATs) along with client / contractor’s requirements.

5. Assist construction team during module fabrication, equipment installation, and assist the pre-commissioning and commissioning team during yard testing.

6. Lead procurement team as required during the ordering stage.

7. Monitor the status of SP-Mat.

JOB Requirement

Category Team Lead (Mint Naturals) , Procurement

This focal point position leading out Mint Naturals Category as Team Lead being accountable for the development of vision, strategy, and implementation plan for the Mint Naturals category and its sub-categories of spend that will effectively meet the long-term requirements of the Business Units and deliver the maximum value for Symrise.
