Product Lead Sustainability Business Lending
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on this world? Do you have a fascination for our planet, the people who live on it, and also for leading a team full of talented professionals? And do you want to make a difference by influencing the world of finance to become more sustainable? Then you are the perfect new colleague we are looking for!
Putting Sustainability at the heart of everything we do
For ING to become the frontrunner in the sustainable transformation of the Dutch Economy we need to get a grip on the CO2 emissions of our Lending book. Because, what we invest in grows, and we want to make sure that that growth is contributing towards a better world. Therefore we work on projects that help us to first get the insights on the current CO2 emissions of our portfolio (Terra program), but also on creating products and journeys (including IT systems) for our clients to help them make the actual transition to a sustainable business. Next to that, we also cover the topic of ESG risk in our team, where we want to make sure we take ESG risk into account in our credit decision, both from risk as well as commercial perspective.
So, what does that mean for the role we have to offer?
ESG is getting an enormous boost in the Horizon ’28 strategy, which means that we need to accelerate on all our plans to make ESG part of our DNA. From CO2 insights, to journey and product development, to the execution of the ESG Risk roadmap. We are looking for a Product Lead that is willing to step in to this new, fast pace, delivery focused subject to help the team get to the impact we want to make. The role comes with direct responsibility, exposure to all layers of the bank and all business lines, and, last but definitely not least, an awesome team of professionals who are passionate about Sustainability.
This is you!
You have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude; you want to make an impact and see results. You are curious, have a hands-on mentality and are eager to learn. In addition, you are an experienced people manager and like a challenge. You have a passion for sustainability and our planet and you want to really make a difference.
But what does that mean concretely?
What do you get from us?
