Our client in Goole are keen to recruit a mechanically biased maintenance engineer to strengthen a small maintenance team who maintain and repair all machinery and equipment on site minimise production down time and meet customer demand.

The duties of the Maintenance Engineer include:
Repair machinery that has been reported as ‘broken down’ in a timely manner.
Ensure any repairs carried out are fully documented using a job sheet.
Ensure all PPM and maintenance jobs are up to date (production prioritises).

Escape Recruitment are looking to recruit Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join a fast-paced manufacturing company who are based in Ayrshire. This is a shift-based position and you must be available to work a continental shift pattern of 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shifts.

The role:

• You will work closely with the wider maintenance team to maintain the plant and ensure downtime is minimised.
• Repair and overhaul all plant equipment, replacing anything damaged.
• Diagnose and resolve faults with equipment.
• Participate and close out assigned tasks in relation to seasonal overhauls.

About you:

• Qualified maintenance engineer or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience within a heavy mechanical facility.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
