Job Summary
The Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining and administering the company's computer networks. This includes maintenance of computer networks, hardware, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. This position assists the team in implementing new network technologies working on a large range of active projects as well as providing network support for our key stakeholders. This includes diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, managing, and upgrading all network systems within the team’s remit.

Responsibilities
Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations, monitoring the network for optimal performance
Work with stakeholders throughout Bedrock to understand their network requirements, equipment needs and uphold network standards
Develop the network architecture to meet business needs, develops test plans, and evaluate new technology
Provide network support with a variety of operating systems, resolve network issues, and troubleshoot wireless LAN Clients and VPN site-to-site/remote team member access
Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
Assists service desk, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems and outages
Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations
Maintains, configures, and monitors virus protection software and email applications
Implement and perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources and produce and maintain technical documentation
Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
Requirements
Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
CCNA Routing and Switching
Experience with Cisco network devices, NX-OS, and Cisco IOS
Approximately 2 years’ experience designing and implementing network solutions
Experience working with internal and external customers to define solutions, including receiving, interpreting, and understanding user requirements

Position Summary
The Building Automation Control Engineer (internally titled Control Engineer) is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and analyzing the Bedrock integrated building management system for the Detroit and Cleveland portfolio. This position’s primary goal is to optimize the Building Management System control strategies, ensure the systems are performing at optimal efficiency to achieve the Bedrock Tenant comfort experience. The ability to adhere to quality and the Bedrock Smart Building Specification is crucial. Job Summary
The Building Engineer at Bedrock assists the Engineering Manager with the planning, coordination, and management of all mechanical operations, maintenance and energy management programs, in alignment with Bedrock quality standards and operating objectives. The Building Engineer would be a team member with a heavy MEP knowledge base who would assist with multiple properties. This team member would assist the manager with work delegation and serve as a technical resource for construction projects, property management, and other internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
Support and partner with the property management team to implement preventative maintenance projects and work orders
Develop a working knowledge of all common engineering operations through working exposure, cross-training, and educational opportunities
Coordinate, , and complete building maintenance requests
Ensure that Bedrock standards are maintained and report any deficiencies to Engineering Leadership
Ensure adequate supply of common and special parts, supplies, tools, equipment, and materials required by the Engineering group
Provide support to Engineering Leadership to ensure compliance with all governmental codes, laws, and regulations
