JOB PURPOSE

1. To assist, plan and maintain:
   1. Good practices of assembly operation in TKAD to ensure continuance of producing Shockstar in time and cost-effective ways while keeping highest safety and product quality standard at any time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production

1. Analyze raw material stock level by considering forecast provided by Sales and Export team.
   1. Data gathering to understand pattern of each Shockstar ordering.
   2. Ensure raw materials are available prior production start by clearing all transaction in SAP.
   3. Conduct proper raw material monitoring includes stock movement and storing capacity within safe standard.
   4. Record, track and transfer physical copy of inventory transactions (raw materials, packing materials, etc) into SAP system daily.
   5. Ensure SAP system is updated in a timely manner to avoid any inconsistency with physical count of raw materials.
   6. Liaising with other members of different departments of any updates to SAP with regards to Inventory, Purchasing, Sales (Local), Sales (Export) and Supply Chain.
   7. Ensure all relevant documentation are well kept and in order in compliance ISO requirements.
2. Processing order received from Sales and Export department.
   1. Prepare and review Packing List required for exporting Finish Products to meet demands of overseas customers and legal requirements.
   2. Evaluating, develop and modify production schedule with consideration of machine capacity and manpower capacity.
   3. Provide daily updates on Finished Goods produced in SAP by transferring data from daily production record into system.
3. Maintain good performance in production by monitoring the productivity and plant efficiency
   1. Observe and evaluate the progress of production and completion of tasks to optimize the plant capacity and work efficiently.
   2. Manage operators work arrangement and delegate tasks on daily basis to ensure targets are achieved.
   3. Conduct daily briefing/toolbox meeting to all staffs on production details, update on any relevant information and reminder of adherence towards safety practices to mitigate error and unsafe practices.
   4. Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards.
   5. Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities.
   6. Gathering production data that includes production output, manhours, overtime and material consumed for the production monthly report and submitted to the Plant Manager
4. Ensuring maintenance of the machines are managed accordingly to avoid interruption during production.
   1. Managing spare part inventory.
   2. Provide effective maintenance schedule and coordination internally and externally.
   3. Conduct continuous improvement on machine performance.

1. Ensuring operational procedures are followed thoroughly, maintained and updated accordingly to avoid any product defects as well as to maintain safe operation.
2. Monitor, assess and improve competencies and knowledge of workers through development of lesson module and internal training periodically.
3. Evaluating materials and finished goods rejection rate in compliance to quality specification standard.
4. Commit to all customer complaints and feedback.

• To provide engineering support for production operation in addressing any product quality issues and process quality issues.

Job Summary:

• Manage all aspects of production and operation of chamber from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget; and 
• Manage the maintenance, install, repair, start-up/commissioning, and operation of critical utilities and systems related to sterilization equipment and support systems, including steam boilers, hot water, chilled water, vacuum, and nitrogen system. Experience with industrial HVAC, plumbing and electrical a plus.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance 

a.   Oversee the routine Preventative Maintenance on sterilization equipment, and facilities HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems;

b.    Troubleshoot critical utilities and systems related to sterilization equipment and support systems, including: steam boilers, hot water, chilled water, vacuum, and nitrogen system;

c.     Troubleshoot and manage the maintenance and repair of the Sterilization building HVAC, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems;

d.     Manages outside contractors during specialized projects and during routine services regarding sterilization equipment and support systems;

e.      Project Manager for new equipment installation, equipment upgrades, building upgrades and improvements;

f.       Perform validation on new equipment and processes (IQ,OQ, PQ, FAT);

g.      Offers expertise in regard to continuous improvement, quality improvement, and cost reduction efforts related to sterilization equipment processes, support systems, and functions;

h.      Coordinate annual equipment requalification;

i.       Schedule and manage the annual plant shutdowns;

j.       Manage the budget for projects spare parts and maintenance;

k.      Assess spare part inventories to ensure adequate supply on-hand;

l.      Perform calibration duties.

 

Production 

a.     To monitor and ensure that the sterilizer been operated in a safe manner at all time in accordance with the written rules and regulations;

b.     To perform daily scheduling of customer products and liaise the day-to-day scheduling of the product processing to optimize the operation of the sterilizer;

c.      Perform trouble shooting and repair of the sterilizer and its associated system together with engineering / production team;

d.     Participate in recipe development for new products;

e.      Planning and execute the training and retraining of maintenance technician/production/operation technician;

f.       To assist QA in investigating all customer complaints and/or any nonconformance’s arise and to undertake appropriate action in order to prevent recurrence;

g.      Authorize to ensure all chamber safety related issues are adhered at all times;

h.      Developing and reviewing operating procedures to be used in service to enable it to meet the quality requirements at minimal cost;

i.       Ensuring job cards, work schedules are prepared based on the priority of order to be processed;

j.       Ensuring all requirements of Quality Management System based in the ISO 13485:2016 and other relevant standards are implemented and maintained;

k.      Performing corrective action called for on an approved action request;

l.       Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and products; 

m.    Participate (Lead) on the sterilization Emergency Response Team;

n.      Comply with all local, state, federal, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

a.      Supervise departmental KPI to ensure the same are conducted and performed according to company’s policies and target.

b.       Presentation of report(s) and working paper(s) for approval of Management / Board of Directors.

c.        Monitor progress of subordinates from time to time and to guide them to perform effectively and efficiently.

· Cross-functional teams collaboration, engagement with research institutions, tool and material suppliers in supporting product qualification, innovate interconnect / packaging materials solution to enhance product reliability and performance.

· Establish robust process margins, inline SPC controls with good Cp/Cpk performance.

· Provide documentation (characterization reports, operating instructions, control plan, etc) & regular technical reporting and coordinate internally and externally to fulfil the Technology and Product Development programs.

· Perform analysis on process performance, yield, establish design rules, manufacturing cost and cycle-time.

· Contribute in planning and execution of essential continuous improvement program and where required ensure implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.

· Serve as a technical team member and a subject matter expert.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):

· PhD/Master/BSc/BEng in Material Science, Chemical, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience with direct technical background in semiconductor interconnect assembly & packaging.

· Prior work experience in new product and/or new process development and qualification; experience in microLED processing, Interconnect assembly with experience in Flip chip, thermocompression bonding, and underfill will be an advantage.

· Knowledge in advanced semiconductor wafer level packaging assembly, wire-bonding, molding, wafer level fan out and fan in, will be advantage.

· Knowledge in temporary bonding and laser debonding, dicing, wafer reconstitution, will be an advantage.

· Self driven, strong team player and able to work independently, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Passionate about work and have positive mindset.
