The Manager/Senior Manager, Communication will be responsible for planning and leading the full range of communication activities on print and digital platforms, maintaining brand integrity across initiatives, and delivering external and internal communication materials for the organisation. The role will be responsible for managing NUS Enterprise's publications and social media channels, as well as developing engaging content to promote our initiatives and the vibrant start-up community. About ASEF Communications Department (COM)

COM promotes Asia-Europe cooperation by advancing awareness and knowledge about ASEF, ASEM and key issues of Asia-Europe relations. Aimed at a diverse range of constituencies including the media and general public, COM’s activities foster greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe. Among the seven thematic areas of ASEF, COM is responsible for Media. Through its media projects, COM creates unique networking platforms for the exchange of views and ideas, as well as cooperation among media professionals from Asia and Europe.

COM is also responsible for ASEF’s corporate communications. COM supports the Executive Director on ASEF’s messaging and outreach, and is custodian for ASEF’s brand and identity. It manages the ASEF website and related digital assets, and coordinates project communication by ASEF Project Departments (PDs) and ASEM-related bodies.

About the Position

ASEF is looking for a hardworking, experienced and creative Senior Project Executive (SPE), who is also a good team player and can contribute to the achievement and furthering of COM’s mission. He/she reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with rest of the COM team.

The appointment is on a one-year contract basis, with an initial 3-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and implementation of ASEF’s Communications and Strategy
• Conceptualise, organise and implement media projects and where necessary, other ASEF-related programmes.

About ASEF Communications Department (COM)

COM promotes Asia-Europe cooperation by advancing awareness and knowledge about ASEF, ASEM and key issues of Asia-Europe relations. Aimed at a diverse range of constituencies including the media and general public, COM’s activities foster greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe. Among ASEF’s thematic areas, COM is responsible for Media. About the Position

COM is looking for a Project Executive to assist in developing programmes and activities. He/she will be mainly responsible for the organisation and implementation of projects as assigned. This includes project delivery, encompassing areas of quality, content and design.

The appointment is on a one-year contract basis, with an initial 3-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptualising new projects for the department.
• Assist in managing and implementing projects, including the ASEF Journalists Seminar.
• Assist in drafting reports and compiling input, such as for meetings and ASEF Annual Report.
• Conduct research and analysis to support COM activities, such as for speeches and projects.
• Assist in managing and enhancing the ASEM information Board (AIB).
• Support corporate outreach, such as ASEF corporate video.
• Maintain database of alumni and projects, and support outreach.
• Assist in COM budget planning, management and reporting.
• Support collaboration with external organisations and partners.
• Liaise with vendors supporting COM projects.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Marketing and Digital Campaign professional to join the Communications Team at NUS School of Computing. Qualifications

Asia Research Institute (ARI)

The Asia Research Institute (ARI) was established as a University-level institute in July 2001 as one of the strategic initiatives of the National University of Singapore (NUS). Our mission is to provide a world-class focus and resource for research on the Asian region, located at one of its communication hubs. ARI research engages important challenges facing the region and wider worlds, ranging from migration and child health, to ageing and care ethics, to the governance of transboundary haze.

We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Institute Research Assistant/Associate (Communications and Content Management), to disseminate the work of our researchers.

Job Description

The position will involve developing and executing the Institute’s communication strategy, especially through the creation, operation and maintenance of online and social media platforms. You will work closely with ARI staff to highlight and communicate the Institute’s work and to oversee digital initiatives to make our research findings accessible to the wider public in Singapore and internationally. In addition, you will be responsible for rewriting content for different audiences such as through Twitter, Facebook, conference reports and researcher profiles. The role will also involve journal co-ordination work.

Job Requirements

• The applicant should possess a Masters, Honours degree or equivalent in the Social Sciences or Humanities or Media and Communications.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills (English Language).
