1 MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT

● To engage audiences across the globe to accelerate conservation impact and to build the WWF brand;

2 MAJOR FUNCTIONS

● Provides technical support to users of the different technology platforms, and keeps them up to date with the latest improvements done to the various systems;

3 Major Duties and Responsibilities

● Serves as an initial point of contact for the Technology & Applications Unit handling all the Level 1 queries and providing them advice on appropriate solutions

● Investigate and route the Level 2 and Level 3 queries to the respective development team members with sufficient background information on the query;

● Collect and analyse feedback submitted by members to the team's Zendesk email address;

● Effectively follows up and close Zendesk tickets with proper notes;

● Uses Mailchimp and/or similar tools to build a virtual community of communicators and sends out regular and relevant (ad-hoc/monthly) updates & newsletters to the users of different systems;

● Creates training manuals for the various technology platforms provided by the Unit and is responsible for keeping these documents up to date with the most recent developments;

● Conducts virtual calls with the community to demonstrate the changes implemented to our systems;

4 PROFILE

Required Qualifications.

● Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

● At least 3 years working in a communications role in a team handling technology platforms.

● Demonstrated experience in successfully providing technical and customer support would be preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies.

● An approachable communication style with the ability to ask the right questions to uncover the finer details;

Corporate Communication

• Create and manage the content on SAMS website and social media platforms
• Design and develop content for internal and external publications, marketing/corporate collaterals, videos and other publicity materials
• Provide support for events, corporate visits, marketing or corporate campaigns and projects, and manage coordination and liaison with internal and external stakeholders and partners

Partnership

• Maintain and develop strategic and meaningful collaborations and working relationships with corporate partners and individuals.
• Communicate with internal or external stakeholders in alignment to the SAMS Vision and Mission (which includes but does not limit to corporate, schools and other SSA) to give public awareness talks.
• Plan, organise and coordinate fundraising initiatives and events through the different marketing channel.
• Manage donors’ database, ensure accountability of donations received, and update fundraising status accordingly.
• Assist with supporting / coordinating Parents Support Group (PSG).
• Recruit and manage volunteers in activities and programmes.
• Plan and execute CSR activities to maintain and strengthen relationship with the different stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue general correspondence and acknowledgment letters to the various stakeholders and keep accurate records of fundraising activities.
• Handle public enquiries for donation, donation-in-kind, sponsorships and community projects
• Act as an ambassador/ representative for SAMS, representing the organisation at external networking events which includes cheque presentations and talks.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned

Job Holder's Requirement and Attributes

• Degree / Diploma in marketing, public relations, mass communication, journalism or related disciplines
• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, public relations, corporate communication or marketing communication
• Resourceful, creative, proactive, possess a positive attitude and can-do spirit, has a strong sense of responsibility
• Solid knowledge and strong skills in publication, production and/or design software and video editing tools
• A proactive team player with initiative, is independent, self-driven and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational, analytic and time-management skills

The Executive – Communications & Partnership is responsible for the development and management of:

(1) Donor relations, monetary donations, in-kind donations and sponsorships

(2) Volunteer activities and full volunteer lifecycle, in alignment with Corporate Services’ policies and practices

• Donor Management

1. Identify potential donor sources, handle donor enquiries and match donors with suitable opportunities
2. Foster strong relations with donors and stakeholders through engagements and appreciation
3. Maintain the donors’ database

• Volunteer Management

1. Identify potential volunteer sources and handle volunteer enquiries
2. Oversee the full volunteer life cycle ranging from recruitment, screening/interview, matching, orientation, deployment, review/feedback, appreciation, training and exit.
3. Foster strong relations with volunteers and stakeholders through care support and engagements
4. Maintain the volunteer management

• Event Management

1. Support in the planning and organizing of key centre-level events for residents and stakeholders
2. Drive and ensure smooth operations of key events
3. Involve in media liaison and coordination of corporate and media-related events, such as filming and interviews

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social sector or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Strong in public relations, communications, writing and presentation skills
• Strong in activity planning and programme coordination
• Possess critical thinking, strategic planning, effective time management skills

· Manage mission critical Cloud and On-Prem IT Infrastructure comprising Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, VMWare, Synology storage.

· Co-lead to expedite on scheduled or ad hoc requests of End User onboarding.

· Active participation to ensure uptime and availability of networking and security related appliances.

· Work closely with internal ICT and vendors to provide technical support at various levels of mitigation.

· Co-lead in the revamp implementation for baseline IT infrastructure for Digitisation

· Active participation to support IT project management related tasks.

· Provide resolution and closure to service tickets, external IT application or platform anomalies.

· Active participation and contribute to meet ICT Departmental KPI and delivery at large.

· With in-house training to advance as part of ICT team’s value-added initiatives on website interactive platforms and SMART technologies.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma or equivalent academic certifications.

· At least two-years relevant work experience for those without equivalent qualifications.
