The Opportunity:

As a test engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and engineers to evaluate software developed for DoD. You’ll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of Department of Defense tools. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. You Have:
4+ years of experience with test and evaluation, conducting test and evaluation activities, and documenting results
Experience with Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development and staffing process
Experience with the preparation of strategy, studies, plans, and analyses in support of test outcomes
Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships
Experience with multi-faceted tests and test project teams
Experience with Systems Engineering and Integration and hardware and software system administration
Knowledge of network architectures and network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, TCP/IP sockets, FTP, or SFTP

The Senior Specialist IT Product Security reports to the Cybersecurity Lead, and works closely with the application development and quality control teams, playing a critical role in the software development lifecycle of our web and mobile applications.

Key Role:
Test software following a formal testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Development Quality Engineer to ensure our medical devices are developed in accordance with Abbott’s design control requirements and state of the art product standards. The Sr. Development Quality Engineer will serve as a technical representative providing development quality expertise to product development teams.
