• Agree HOTs and purchase land to ensure continuity of land supply to meet future forecasts.

You will analyse survey reports to extract key information for effective asbestos management. This role will allow you to collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and efficient survey processes. You will provide accurate and timely reports on asbestos findings.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this position, you will hold qualifications in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402, P403, P404). You will have previous experience of working in an asbestos surveying position. You will have familiarity and a strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and best practice. You will have strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and produce high-quality work. You will be working with a Project Manager and other surveyors as part of this project, so it's key that you are a team player and able to collaborate effectively.

Your new role


In your new role as an Energy (EPC) surveyor, you will conduct EPC surveys in accordance to industry standards. You will then provide advice and recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. Once the required upgrades have been completed, you will then carry out a new survey of the properties to confirm that the energy improvements have been completed.


What you'll need to succeed


In order to be considered for this position, you must have previous experience of EPC surveys and producing reports. Ideally, you will be an accredited domestic energy assessor. You will have knowledge of energy efficiency measures and technologies. Excellent communication skills are vital in this role - you will be liaising with tenants, contractors and the wider team and must produce reports and advice clearly. This role will have you work both independently and as part of a team.

I am recruiting for a specialist bespoke, high end residential contractor who have a major new development near Andover and are looking for a Senior Quantity surveyor to join their team.

The company are a recognised brand in their chosen marketplace and have built some of the largest high spec dwellings for high net worth individuals across the South and have proven and developed procedures, supply chain and their own internal joinery workshops and fitters.

Your duties will be to work with the estimating and bid teams to firm up prices and costs for each package based on the initial bids, compile a working scope of works and bill of quantities for each package and work with the supply chain to establish how each phase will be delivered. Place orders, arrange pre start meetings and then manage the scheme in conjunction with the delivery team and carry out the standard SQS role of overseeing and managing valuations, payments, remeasures, managing variation accounts, CVR's and weekly, monthly reporting and forecasting through to final account.

The initial scheme is a part new build and part refurb of an existing standalone country dwelling with new extensions, refurbishments, upgrades and substantial groundworks and engineering packages on a JCT foc approx £65 million.

The role would be ideal for someone looking to work on a high spec, quality led development from a Tier 1 background.
