Job Description & Summary

• Oversee all accounting, finance and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standard and regulatory requirements.
• Overview of daily financial accounting operations including AR, AP, GL and reconciliations.
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue, expenses, coordinating the collection, consolidation and evaluation of financial data.
• Checking, verify & approve supporting documents/invoices for bank payments
• Prepare monthly commentary report explaining significant variances to Directors.
• Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditure and analysing variance.
• To assist in e-invoicing implementation.
• To liaise with all stakeholders such as internal departments, related companies, bankers, auditors, tax agents, relevant authorities etc on all accounting matters.
• To assist in annual audit and stock take process.
• To coordinate and review accounting, reporting, pricing, costing, budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• To prepare consolidated financial reports.
• Ensure that internal controls are in place & adhered to.
• Undertake business income tax calculation.

 Responsibilities

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy, partial/ professionally qualified in Accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW) or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of working experience.
• To have strong theoretical and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in Manufacturing & Plantation industries would be an added advantage.
• Highly committed and able to work independently within tight datelines.
• Meticulous and adaptive to changes with high accuracy.
• IT literacy is required for this position.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to use SQL accounting system.
