About the Role
The Head of Computer Vision is a key stakeholder of the Technical Development Division. The division is composed of diverse and interdisciplinary talent from Physics, Data Science, Biomedical Sciences, and Engineering backgrounds, working together to apply novel machine learning methods to generate biological insights from complex healthcare and genomic data.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the role is a mixture of Research Leader, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, and Solution Developer. To succeed in this role, the post holder will demonstrate leadership, independence, a keen eye for innovative technologies, ability to manage and develop complete Machine Learning and Computer Vision pipelines for different applications to support Concr’s platform and products, and the rest of the team in integrated, multi-disciplinary projects.

Security Planning

 

• Identify the major facilities and security equipment requirements for the department and the property.
• Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the Chief Engineer & stay abreast of technological advances in surveillance & safety equipment.

Your role

As ourSecurity & Safety Manager you work alongside and deputise for our Security Director to ensure the safety and security of all guest, personnel and property. Working as part of a larger security team you will demonstrate a flexible and adaptive hands-on approach in order to lead, guide and continuously train a team of DutySecurity Officers & our Nightlife Security Officers to ensure that all of our front and back of house areas across the hotel and our venues are safeguarded against fire, theft or other safety hazards.

You respond with a sense of urgency to any and all emergency situations in a calm and professional manor. Your team will undertake a range of security patrols around the premises and be required to deal with various safety incidents involving guests, contractors or staff and act as liaisons with local law-enforcement, food safety and fire department agencies. Our nightlife security team provide door coverage across our 6 venues, including our bars and restaurants, rootop and late night club lounge, so experience of managing a busy late night venue is a must.

A key element of your role is Health & Safety, so you will need to be well versed in all relevant fire, liscening and Health & safety legislation. You will be passionate about delivering a quality Security service with a meticulous eye for detail, maintaining your team's standards through coaching and training in order to achieve the highest levels of service and presentation.

Do you have what it takes to be a Security & Safety Manager at The Standard

Prior experience with a minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Security Manager & Supervisoris essential for this role; in addition to this you will have however an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests and team members.

* A proven track record within a security and safety rolewith the ability to inspire and motivate a team, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle' or boutique hotel or large entertainment/nightlife venue

* Nightlife Experience with ability to manage and coordinate large numbers of people in the event of a complex emergency situations

* Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals.

* Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

* Effective communication/presentation skills, both verbal and written.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be CISSP / CISM qualified or have a similar qualification.

• A strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and approaches to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate against the potential risks posed.

About the Team

As part of the Security Engineering team, we are responsible for supporting the company's construction of security capabilities and platform services, combining other teams to create efficient and high-quality service docking capabilities, enhancing interactive experience, and lowering the user's barriers to understanding and using security services.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage a team of software engineers including task planning and code reviews, oversee the development of solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

- Drive technical projects and provide leadership in a fast-moving environment.

- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented.

Qualifications
