Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

Main (Club Internal Audit)

• Identify areas of control risks or operational gaps and propose mitigation strategies
• Provide recommendations to ensure that internal control policies and procedures are adhered to

• Assess the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures

Secondary (ICT & PD)

• Manage account and access control on system, drive, and document rights

• Ensure work processes and documentation to be in line with PDPA
• Enforce rules for retention, protection and sharing of personal data
• Fostering of data protection culture among employees
• Work closely with ICT Executive and Data Protection Officer to close gaps and weaknesses

Responsibilities

• Executing risk based financial, operational and compliance audit which includes developing internal audit scope and audit planning.

• Assisting in developing of annual risk-based audit plan and periodic reporting to the Audit Committee.

Requirements:

• A good Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Professional certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIA) is preferred.

• Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is essential.

A. Accounts & Finance

• Perform full sets of accounts such as AR, AP, Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, Prepayments, Deposits, Journal Entries, Disbursement and others

• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast, budgeting and forecasting

• Manage and oversee overall accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department

• Preparation of full set of Management Reports and Financial Statements for selected companies in the Group such as Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and disclosure notes in accordance to IFRS Standards.

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, handle intercompany transactions based on the company reporting timelines

• Performance of basic financial analysis (e.g. Actual versus Prior Year / Budgets) on main P&L line items for discussion with management on a monthly basis
