Your new role

In your new role, you will manage and process the entire payroll process from start to end on a weekly and monthly basis using SAGE 50 and EQUE2 gathering information from employee timesheets. Also, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee payroll calculations are entered/calculated, you will meet strict payroll deadlines and have a high level of confidentiality. You will stay well-informed and up to date with any legislation or changes in employment status, tax, pensions and maintain the upkeep of pension submissions. You will regularly review and process corrections, acting as the main contact for internal employees for any payroll related enquires.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, can work independently as well as collaborate with the wider team to build strong relationships at all levels. Ensure clinical appointments are loaded into the appointment book in a timely manner and are updated according to any annual leave, sickness, and other changes. Support operations management team with on the day adjustments to screens. Support nursing team to schedule meetings and training sessions. Ensure requests from GPs and other clinicians are dealt with in a timely manner. Contact patients in a professional manner as requested by a clinician or manager. This may be over the phone, by text message or by letter. To be able to use the appointment book to book any necessary appointments for the patient as requested by a clinician or manager. Liaise with the secretarial team and hospitals or other providers to resolve queries regarding referrals to secondary care. Complete simple forms and referrals on behalf of the GP and ensure these referrals are sent using the processes in place. Support the management team with day to day operational task and governance checks

Providing effective reception support within a busy out-patients service, dealing with patient facing and clinical team queries, managing complex phone queries and providing comprehensive message taking. Accurate data inputting/management of our electronic care records system (Carenotes), managing clinic room bookings, sending appointment letters, scanning, uploading, printing, as well as other general day to day admin duties and the ability to exercise judgement and work unsupervised to meet deadlines. Skills and Experience: Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office systems is essential whilst training will be provided for in-house systems and processes such as Carenotes, etc. You may be required to travel to attend training, for which travel expenses would be paid.
