Your responsibilities:

• Handle full set accounts.
• To handle daily accounting data entries and any other accounting-related matters in a timely manner and adhere to accounting standards.
• Receive and process payments, invoices, reimbursements, bills, and other accounting information.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Handle filling of all documents related to company finances.
• Prepare statements of accounts and monitor monthly collection and debt recoveries.
• Prepare bank reconciliation and petty cash claims.
• Prepare analysis of accounts.
• Prepare with month-end closing.
• To liaise with the auditors, bankers, tax consultants, company secretaries & etc.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• At least one year experience in handling full set accounts.
• Computer literate (Mircosoft Excel, WORDS).
• Experience using the AUTOCOUNT Accounting System will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and have a positive working attitude.
• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision& work in a tight timeline.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and interpersonal skills. 
• Able to work beyond working hours to meet the statutory deadline submission.

Job Description

• Overall assist all financial activities of the company, ie. financial statement, treasury functions, cash flow management etc including:-
  • Daily accounting operations, ie. payments & collections, staff claims & commission.
  • Monthly closing, ie. accounts payable, receivable & bank reconciliation; balance sheet & expenses analysis schedule.
  • Inventory control & costing

• Assist superior in finalization of monthly management accounts for review, analysis and evaluation.
• Assist superior in coordinating year-end audit and liaise with external auditors, tax agent relating to the preparation of final account and tax matters.
• Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.

Requirements:

- Prepare the yearly operating budget for the company to ensure that all financial objectives are fulfilled and manage performance against budget, highlighting concerns and opportunities
- Monitor and review the business performance of the business units within the group, oversee the preparation of monthly management reporting pack
- Constantly improve the effectiveness of revenue management process as well as related reconciliations of debtors, banks, etc.
- Provide advice, expertise and insights on financial related matters

Job requirements: -

- A Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent and/or a member of a recognized accountancy body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Minimum 5 years working experience with corporate finance background an advantage
