As an Application Developer & Trainer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering meaningful, useful training, working closely with clinical, administrative and managerial colleagues to ensure it supports both clinical and operational needs.
Joining us, you’ll work to gain Epic qualification and use this knowledge to help you design and deliver training materials. . And, leading the design and ongoing maintenance of the training environment, including the patient scenarios, workflows and example data used, you’ll also be involved in testing the system to ensure that its safe, usable and secure.
You'll be supporting staff across the Trust to successfully complete the workflow-based training.
Required skills and experience
We’re looking for demonstrable experience of delivering training to large or small groups, or one-to-one, and a good knowledge of different learning styles and theories. With the ability to convey highly complex information and concepts, and inspire confidence in audiences at all levels, you should be able to listen to and interpret their needs. You’ll also need knowledge of clinical, administrative and operational workflows and processes within a hospital environment.
You’ll bring leadership qualities, with the ability to manage and motivate team members and take the initiative in developing working practices. On a personal level, you’re a self-motivated team player with excellent personal skills and the ability to work in a matrix environment. With a ‘can-do’ attitude and customer/patient-focused approach, you prioritise tasks effectively.
