In Indonesia, SP4PHC is working with Ministry of Health (MOH) since the late 2022 on supporting the MOH’s Health Transformation agenda, and specifically focusing on reforms around improving PHC, health financing, and digital health across Indonesia. SP4PHC Indonesia is implementing three strategies, which aim to improve how JKN purchases PHC services, optimize flow of funds via districts to PHC providers, and foster integration of telemedicine into purchasing arrangements for PHC services.

To support these strategies, several activities related to the health system, financing, and policy will be carried out. The Analyst will be a core technical member of the SP4PHC Indonesia team and will report to the Project Director. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Data Analysis for Policy Reform

·        Support the generation of evidence and insights from the Consortium implementation, and work with the MoH and partners to incorporate these into policy development and roll-out

• Reporting to Beam's Chief of Staff, but working directly with stakeholders across country Operations and multiple HQ functions, including the Founders
• Assist quarterly definition of company and country/function strategy, via diverse analysis of Beam's operational and financial data
• Provide supporting inputs into intelligent creation of quarterly measureable targets (OKRs) for each team. Form conclusions on ongoing impact of initiatives/progress against targets, even where data available is complex and ambiguous, to inform any course corrections required
• Scope and help stabilise new business models/frameworks via financial modelling (e.g. new second-life commercial models, or incentive structures for labour)
• Drive high-impact analysis for critical founder-level strategic decisions (e.g. large vehicle orders/movements/sales, tender submissions, M&A or market entry)
• Support production of materials that reflect the company’s strategy and progress on strategic initiatives for external stakeholders (e.g. for the group Board/investors)
• Proactive identification of key business issues and possible projects to address them - to help ensure the business properly prioritises the right initiatives each quarter"

• Minimum 2 years working experience in startups, consulting, banking or multi-national companies
• Analytical thinker - with ability to form structured solutions to ambiguous, complex problems
• Strong data literacy - with direct working experience of both SQL and financial modelling
• Personable and persuasive - with ability to develop close working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders in support of common goals
