The role's responsibilities include: -

 

- Manage diaries and schedules
- Dealing with correspondences and phones calls
- Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
- Ensures reports submitted by various departments/ group companies are in order       and timely; and able to summarise the key points and actions points
- Manage office filing system- physical and softcopy
- General administrative duties
- Assist with ad hoc tasks given
 

Requirements: -

- Degree/Diploma in related discipline or SPM/STPM with PSC or equivalent
- At least 3 years working experience preferred
- Ideally have experience with company secretarial matters
- Ideally have some accounting knowledge
- Good command of both spoken and written English

Secretary general duties:

• Screening and answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence

THE ROLE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Care and supervise a class of students in an after-school care setting.
• Guide primary school students (P1 - 6) in their schoolwork.
• Conduct and deliver holistic curriculum for students (eg, craft work, values, and leadership lessons)
• Provide guidance to junior student care coach in class management.

The Role

You will direct the activities of students and/or child in the centre. You are responsible for the smooth operations of the Centre, and in meeting the student enrolment targets and profit goals. You will develop children in academic, social, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills to promote students’ physical, mental and social development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations:

• Prepare and submit facility budget to management for approval.
• Purchase instructional materials and teaching aids, such as books, toys, and games designed to stimulate learning.
• Review and approve menu plans and food purchases.
• Ensure the safety and well being of each individual child. Observe children to detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and to evaluate progress.
• Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with YMCA’s philosophy.
• Report management on student enrolment, expense, manpower, training and etc.
• Perform classroom-teaching duties (Homework Supervision, Enrichment Activities, Character Development sessions, Outdoor activities and other appropriate activities) during the absence of regular teacher.
• Responsible for preparing course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines or requirements of government.
• Supervise activities such as field visits and group discussions to stimulate students’ interest and broaden the understanding of their physical and social environment.
• Perform the role required as a SCFA Administrator, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Social and Family Development; including handling SCFA applications.
• Reporting to school leaders on SCC matters, according to the requirements of Ministry of Education.

Staff Management:

• Conduct interviews and recommend hiring of teaching staff.
• Set goals and targets and appraise staff performance.
• Confer with teaching staff regarding children behavioural or learning problems and recommends methods of modifying inappropriate behaviour and encouraging learning experiences.

Student-Parent Matters:

• Confer with parents regarding facility activities, policies, and enrolment procedures.
• Counsel and discuss the student’s behavioural attitudes and achievements with parents.

Job Requirements

• Diploma and/or Degree in Pre School-Teaching, Early Childhood Education or related discipline.
• Diploma in community and social services (or any other equivalent or higher certification) OR possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience in the field.
• At least 5 years' experience in supervisory capacity.

• First Aid Trained.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

1. Doctors' Professional Matters Administration

· Facilitate the progression process for Temporary and Conditionally registered doctors under the Singapore Medical Council Supervisory Framework, ensuring compliance with registration criteria.

· Assist in the submission of applications for additional/change of Practice Place.

· Manage the extension and renewal of Practicing Certificates for medical staff.

· Coordinate the Joint Committee on Specialist Training and House Officer Accreditation application process, including site inspections and accreditation tracking.

2. Medical Manpower Planning and Support

· Maintain the Medical Staff listing and Directory of Services, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

· Maintain an updated register of sub-committees and workgroups under the Clinical Board’s purview, handling appointments, renewals, and dissolutions.

· Regularly update job descriptions of all doctors.

· Organize and provide administrative support to retreats and events.

3. Training and Development Support

· Administer the Medical Observer (local/overseas) programme, handling Temporary Registration and logistical support.

· Facilitate the Clinical Fellowship programme, coordinating applications between relevant authorities and departments.

· Manage the Yishun Health and Ministry of Health Visiting Expert Scheme, from application to logistical support during visits.

· Administer the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan, including application facilitation and logistical support.

· Coordinate medical staff continuing medical education/training programmes, such as HMDP Sharing Sessions and Clinical Forums.

Track Compulsory Courses and Peer-Review Learning activities by medical staff and Junior doctors.

(B) GENERAL

· To provide secretariat support various committees/ workgroup under Yishun Health and ensure proper documentation of all meetings and follow-up.

· To participate in projects and task as deem appropriate by Assistant Director/ Deputy Director/ Assistant, Chairman Medical Board.

· To render administrative and professional support in hospital-level operation functions and events.

· Embrace continuous improvement as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis.

· Responsible for assessing and identifying the potential risk that may hinder reputation, safety and financial well-being of an organisation.
