• Experience in supporting local and regional customer accounts will be preferred
• Familiar with customers in industries such as Semiconductor, E&E, Automotive etc. and experience as an equipment designer for these industries is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of temperature controls, pressure and flow sensing/control technologies
• Quick learner of new engineering-related tools and standards (such as PLC programming languages and communication protocols)

Part of the New Product Development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and supply chain, to mitigate risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards to ensure the flawless introduction of products into the market.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate risk assessment and mitigation activities during design, prototype and manufacturing phases of new product development.
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans that is focused on the voice of customers and adhere to required internal and external standards to achieve new product qualification.
• Support supplier quality assessments and collaborate with suppliers to achieve qualification on new products.
• Lead or facilitate problem solving and resolution of quality issues during launch, and support efforts to prevent future occurrences.
• Champion continuous improvement and lean initiatives to improve new product development and advanced product quality planning.

Overall in-charge of internal QA (In-process & outgoing quality) and responsible to ensure production set-up and in-process inspectors are performed per quality plans and to ensure produced parts are meeting the customer requirements.

• Supervise the team of inspectors, leaders, technicians at QA dept and OT arrangements.
• Manpower allocation for managing the daily inspection activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Ensure quality of production tool set-up and the parts during in-process inspection meet customer / internal specifications.
• Train inspectors to ensure inspection methods are understood & complied.
• Ensure quality of production tool set-up and the parts during in-process inspection meet customer / internal specifications.
• Ensure quality of delivered parts to customers and align outgoing inspection with quality plans.
• Track KPIs / quality performance of production parts / outgoing quality.
• Respond to customer complaints, investigate, and implement containment actions.
• Monitor implementation of corrective/preventive actions for effectiveness.
• Organize routine MRB review for quality rejects and follow up actions to close these.
• Monitor SPC trends at in-process/outgoing for critical parts and trigger improvement actions when abnormal trends are observed.
• Participate in QMS / supplier audits and follow up closure of non-conformities.
• Assist in external audits (by customers / 3rd party certification bodies) and closure of non-conformities relating to QA functions.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior/ management from time to time.
