You are a part of a wider team responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting the control system from instrumentation through to information systems across our Refinery.

Reporting to the Senior Process Control Engineer, you will:

Develop and maintain the software, provide troubleshooting and training assistance to our production and technical personnel.
Be involved in all aspects of the extensive control system based on a Honeywell DCS, inclusive of basic control, advanced regulatory control and up to multivariable process control systems.

As a QA Engineer at Sky Mavis, you will play a crucial role in assessing software quality through manual and automated testing. • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects in functionality, usability, and performance across web applications, mobile applications (Android/iOS…)
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues on all relevant platforms.
• Write clear and concise bug reports with detailed steps to reproduce the issue, including platform specifics.
• Designing and implementing automation test scripts, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and improve existing automated test scripts for all platforms.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Product Designers to understand project requirements.
• Proactively optimizing and improving the development process of the engineering team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies and tools for various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality.

Control Systems Engineer - Six months contract with possibility of extension - Sydney location Your new company
You will be working with a renowned technology firm based in Sydney. You will be working on Australia's biggest public transport project.
Your new role In your new role, you will be responsible for the following tasks.


Participating to the production of the T&C documentation (test procedure and test reports).


Managing the interfaces/schedule/plan with the different external parties


Prepare and coordinate the site tests. Organising the "Pre-testing coordination meeting" prior to the interface tests; follow-up the actions mandatory before the tests start. Conduct factory tests and on site with the customer and external parties


Provide detailed test reports and logs, allowing further investigation by the software team.


Define T&C scenarios/strategies and guarantee their implementation.


Participate the T&C Weekly Meeting to review requirements and progress for T&C activities.


Provide input and support for the planning of T&C/IVVQ activities.


Analyse the results and manage action plans corresponding to defects identified during the tests.


Manage the system configuration during the successive test phases and maintain the proper site configuration.


What you'll need to succeed


Previous experience in Testing & Commissioning of large rail infrastructure projects (desired but not Must)


Experienced in CCS/SCADA systems - min 2 years


Degree or High Diploma in Engineering/Computer Science


Knowledge of the IVVQ process and related documentation


Knowledge of Linux OS and Network switch


Able to work on-site in a construction environment


Strong attention to detail.
