The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, combined with expertise in system testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to effectively evaluate software functionality and performance.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
- Document test results, including detailed defect reports and technical write-ups.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability across different releases.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with system testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
