c.     Troubleshoot and manage the maintenance and repair of the Sterilization building HVAC, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems;

d.     Manages outside contractors during specialized projects and during routine services regarding sterilization equipment and support systems;

e.      Project Manager for new equipment installation, equipment upgrades, building upgrades and improvements;

f.       Perform validation on new equipment and processes (IQ,OQ, PQ, FAT);

h.      Coordinate annual equipment requalification;

Production 

a.     To monitor and ensure that the sterilizer been operated in a safe manner at all time in accordance with the written rules and regulations;

b.     To perform daily scheduling of customer products and liaise the day-to-day scheduling of the product processing to optimize the operation of the sterilizer;

c.      Perform trouble shooting and repair of the sterilizer and its associated system together with engineering / production team;

d.     Participate in recipe development for new products;

e.      Planning and execute the training and retraining of maintenance technician/production/operation technician;

f.       To assist QA in investigating all customer complaints and/or any nonconformance’s arise and to undertake appropriate action in order to prevent recurrence;

g.      Authorize to ensure all chamber safety related issues are adhered at all times;

h.      Developing and reviewing operating procedures to be used in service to enable it to meet the quality requirements at minimal cost;

i.       Ensuring job cards, work schedules are prepared based on the priority of order to be processed;

Job Scope

Finance Operations:

1. Procurement to Payables Cycle (P2P):
   - Review, process, and reconcile vendor invoices.
   - Execute payments according to approved cycles.
   - Perform periodic reconciliations.

2. Revenue to Receivables Cycle (R2R):
   - Process customer invoices and recognize revenue.
   - Ensure alignment with incurred costs.

3. General Ledger (GL):
   - Execute miscellaneous transactions and journals.
   - Coordinate financial account closures.

4. Fixed Assets (FA):
   - Record fixed asset transactions and depreciation.
   - Maintain Fixed Asset Register and reconcile.

5. Cash and Bank (C&B) or Treasury:
   - Prepare bank reconciliations and manage cash flows.
   - Assist in banking matters.

6. Statutory and Management Reporting and Taxation (R2RPT):
   - Prepare statutory and management reports.
   - Maintain relevant schedules and dashboards.

7. Group Reporting and Taxation (R2RPT):
   - Assist in Group reporting and tax compliance.

8. Operations Finance:
  - Prepare adhoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
  - Support Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities.
  - Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
  - Manage inventory systems.
  - Analyze financial and operational KRA/KPI dashboards.
  - Drive process improvements and ensure internal controls.
  - Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  - Support financial initiatives for growth and compliance.

Requirements: 

• Recognized degree in Finance/Accountancy and/or Professional Qualification ACCA / CIMA/MICPA or equivalent;
• Min 10 years applicable experience in financial reporting/costing and manufacturing accounting, contract accounting or service accounting
• Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO)
• Strong in accounting technicalities and business process workflow
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point is preferred. Exposure in using an ERP system
• Good commercial and operational acumen and with ability for hands-on engagement
• Passion for detailed work and drive to ensure timely and quality deliverables
• Must be proactive, a team player and good communication skills
• Effective managerial skill and ability to lead project base assignments
• Special working arrangement will be considered on a case by case basis
• Some travelling to Bersatu’s facilities and site offices are required
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is encouraged
