Financial Responsibilities

• Operate within the annual budget guidelines, monitoring and controlling, on an ongoing basis, departmental costs to ensure performance against budget so to maximum revenue and ensure profitability is achieved for the hotel.
• Be part of the key business decisions making team within the hotel controlling the optimum market mix according to budget, market conditions and recent forecasts.
• To prepare statistical performance as necessary. Be aware of market trends and competitive set, monitor and evaluate as necessary.
• Hold Regular meetings with the Sales, Reservations and Front Office team with regards to day to day rate strategies.

Information system requirements

• To have good numeric, literacy and computer skills, possessing Microsoft Word, Excel (essential), Powerpoint and preferably a knowledge of Hospitality PMS is desirable.

The Role

The Senior Director, Technology Sales Advisory will collaborate directly with the larger JLL services sales organization by acting as a technology expert in all of the phases that lead to a client to an outsourcing buying decision. Our business model is an advisory lead, people business with responsibilities to our clients that cover all aspects of corporate real estate including facility management and portfolio services. • Present Account Portfolio quarterly and analyse the performance of each account.
• Manage corporate meetings, banquet events, residential and non-residential meeting groups or travel trade accounts.
• Provide management with timely Sales and Marketing strategic information.
• Secure new accounts and achieve monthly sales targets assigned.
• Provide suggestions to re-secure loss of existing accounts.
• Follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and overdue.

Requirements

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

As the Director of Sales - Food & Beverage Business, the incumbent will have direct responsibility to drive Sales and F&B revenues in all restaurants/outlets/bars across the designated hotels. 

The incumbent will work closely with the specialist teams (F&B Directors, F&B Revenue Team, F&B Digital Marketing Team, PR & MARCOM Team, etc.) to maximize revenues related to Food & Beverage Business.
