• This is an opportunity for a driven Project Manager to join the Basel 3.1 programme within Finance’s Chief Operating Office (COO)
• Within your first year in the role, you’ll lead the planned Basel 3.1 programme bank-wide dry runs, testing the bank’s Basel 3.1 adoption readiness ahead of regulatory compliance dates

What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll support the delivery of the bank’s strategic response to Basel 3.1 standards.

You’ll drive the planning and execution of dry run exercises supporting Basel 3.1 adoption readiness testing across end to end impacts, including the preparation of entry criteria, execution runbooks, governance and reporting of progress to stakeholders.

You’ll also:

• Support testing aspects of dry runs for stakeholders bank-wide, including management of success criteria, execution tracking, defects management and reporting
• Work with other Finance COO project managers within the programme to ensure that dry runs are integrated with the other delivery workstreams
• Act as a conduit between bank-wide downstream customers and the Basel 3.1 programme
• Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions across the bank, managing appropriate governance and other regular and ad hoc forums with stakeholders to ensure change is delivered in partnership with technology and business stakeholders
• Create and maintain project documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
• Develop your understanding of the Basel 3 and CRR3 regulations which will go live next year

The skills you'll need

We’ll expect you to be an experienced Project Manager and hold a project management qualification, as well as demonstrate relevant expertise in appropriate project management methodologies and tooling.

You’ll have experience of delivery in a high pressure environment within a large scale change programme, or within a programme delivering mandatory regulatory change within fixed deadlines.
