Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities. This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, a Critical Facilities Engineer:
Responsibilities in facility and infrastructure maintenance include performing preventative and corrective maintenance checks on-site to facility components, repairs, maintenance, installations and on-site inspections to facility systems. Support energy efficiency measures. Monitor and resolve Building Monitoring System (BMS) alarm issues. Operate and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems.
Supports the work approval process for vendors/service providers on maintenance work, by briefing at the start of work, supervising work during the day workday/shift and final review of the work carried out. Ensures vendor maintenance activities are carried out as per Equinix's standard operating procedures. Cooperate with vendors in modifying technical files for plants and equipment ensuring files and builds are up-to-date.
Site administration and incident support responsibilities include performing site logs for permits, such as Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts. Identify Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and make recommendations. Respond to all on-site incidents, including failures, problems and delays. Display substantial understanding in following operating procedures to support on-site administration.
Completes routine work requests and circuit installations, troubleshoots and maintains office equipment (if needed); supports auxiliary equipment and machines with problem solving and repairs to avoid/minimize downtime. Makes minor changes to mechanical, electrical and specialized systems, as directed. Carries out infrastructure projects.
Collaborates with others to resolve moderately difficult facility incidents. Optimally collaborates within the department; may mentor team members on general maintenance activities. Notifies team members of inventory needs in order to maintain optimal stock levels of critical parts and equipment. May recommend infrastructure projects.

Adobe is looking for a Machine Learning intern who will apply AI and machine learning techniques to big-data problems to help Adobe better understand, lead and optimize the experience of its customers.
By using predictive models, experimental design methods, and optimization techniques, the candidate will be working on the research and development of exciting projects like real-time online media optimization, sales operation analytics, customer churn scoring and management, customer understanding, product recommendation and customer lifetime value prediction.
All 2024 Adobe interns will be ‘co-located hybrid. This means that interns will be assigned to an Adobe office location, but in-office schedules will be flexible and determined by team. All interns must live in the same state, country, and within commuting distance of their assigned Adobe office so they can be on-site as needed.

The Opportunity
Adobe seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to enhance customer experiences through AI and generative technologies. This is an exciting internship opportunity inside Adobe Firefly’s applied research organization. You will be surrounded by amazing talents who build the Firefly family of models from research inception all the way to production. We offer internship roles situated at different stages of the development pipeline from fundamental research to advanced development to production engineering directly shaping the training and integration of Firefly production models. Your role will center on pioneering models and applications that shape the future of technology in the realms of images, videos, audio, and 3D. What You’ll Do
Work towards results-oriented research goals, while identifying intermediate achievements.
Contribute to research and advanced development that can be applied to Adobe product development.
Help integrating novel research work into Adobe Firefly product.
Lead and collaborate on projects across different teams.
What You Need to Succeed
Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, machine learning, AI, computer science, statistics, or scene semantic understanding or equivalent experience required
1 + years of experience in computer vision or natural language processing or machine learning
Some experience in Generative AI
Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers.
Experience working in teams.
Knowledge in Python and typical machine learning development toolkits.
Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September.

The role of maintenance technician is to manage maintenance in the facilities to ensure the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations, Responsibilities include inspect facilities periodically to determine problems, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, recruit maintenance technicians, supervise tradesmen during installations,ensure adherence to quality standards, health and safety regulations.
The role of technician is to deliver the desired customer service experience. Responsibilities include providing customer support during field visits, tie workflow to schedule, manage all on site installations, diagnose technical problems, produce detailed service reports, document process, follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
The role of a fitter is to lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems. Responsibilities include test installed systems, measure pipe for cutting, lay out full scale drawings of pipe system ,plan pipe system layout, select materials according to specifications, bore holes in structures using power tools, and install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
The role of welder is to cut and join metals at facilities. Responsibilities include reading measurements to plan layout, determine the appropriate welding equipment, set up components for welding according to specifications, align components using clamp pieces, repair machinery, inspecting welded structure to find flaws and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
The role of chargeman is to assist in planning, operating and carrying out any work that is related to electrical safety precautions as well as preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include preparing daily records, troubleshoot any problems with electrical equipment, installing electrical equipment, supervise a team of electrical staff.
The role of wireman is to install and repair electrical wiring as well as components in facilities. Responsibilities include reading technical blueprints, inspect existing wiring, identify worn-out components, adhere to safety of electrical systems, training and supervise apprentices.
