Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Project Manager to join our team. This is a project-based contract position, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Monastery’s building re-development project. The successful incumbent will have a good track record of achievement in managing building projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong leadership abilities, effective time management skills and good knowledge of industrial regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of the building re-development project, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
• Collaborate with a team of multi-disciplinary consultants (e.g. architects, interior designers, contractors etc.) to ensure project is completed on time and within the approved budget
• Review the concept designs, tender and construction drawings, monitor the project progress and overall status, ensure quality of the workmanship and integrity of the structure according to the Monastery’s direction
• Present periodic progress reports and updates to the Management and stakeholders (include advisory Building Development Committee), identifying and addressing any issues timely to minimize claim for EOT
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Safety and Health regulations and all other applicable statutory/regulatory/authority requirements

Job Specifications

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management with accreditation from Society of Project Managers (SPM) as Certified Project Manager (CPM)
