The Assistant / Manager will set up and oversee planning & coordination of the operational, manpower and administrative matters of the Education Office. Manager, Research, Evaluation & Development

We are looking for passionate individuals committed to the cause of enabling socially disadvantaged low-income families and communities realise their aspirations and get out of the poverty cycle.

This position will offer opportunity to spearhead a new unit committed to justice, data-driven decision making, and participatory research.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, design and execute an integrated Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) strategy and system across the whole of SCC and transformation verticals, together with research consultant, to track families’ transformation journey so as to (1) to monitor the progress and impact of our work so that SCC can learn iteratively to adapt and improve our work and (2) to evaluate the extent to which SCC has achieved “Poverty Transformation With-in Empowered Communities”
• Iterate, finetune and validate SCC’s organizational theory of change (SCC TOC) through prototyping efforts in Lengkok Bahru (LB Prototype) in collaboration with social & family workers and various transformation verticals
• Work with various team leads to synergize and execute an integrated and coherent data collection system across SCC for MEL
• Work with research consultant to ensure that SCC team is equipped with capabilities to conduct and sustain MEL in our work
• Analyze collated data and synthesize insights on SCC’s work from the MEL system
