JOB PURPOSE

Assist in day to day safety operations to ensure drivers and vehicles OPERATE daily SAFE & ON TIME to destination with accordance to company’s policies and customers’ requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Safety Management System 
  • Assist Safety Manager in handling activities pertaining to safety & health policies, procedures, documents etc.
  • Coduct "Behaviour Obervation S" assessment / "Loss Prevention Observation" assessment.
  • Conduct delivery site risk assessment.
  • Respond to all emergencies and incidents.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Operation Management
  • To ensure all fleets complying to the Safety Requirement to perform daily deliveries.
  • To ensuret all delivery routes are complying with journey management policies
  • To ensure and guide branch overall HES compliance to statutory requirements and performance.
  • To ensure HES compliance to customer requirements.
• Driver Management
  • Conduct drivers daily safety tool box meeting, monthly driver safety meeting & also stand down meeting.
  • Ramdom check on drivers’ health condition and ensure their fitness to drive. (Drug & Alchohol Test).
  • Monitor drivers’ violation through GPS System.
  • Guide Drivers through counselling/ heart and mind session.
• Journey Management
  • Plan and conduct tank trucks spot checks.
  • Journey management and risk assessment.
  • Plan safe journey and enforce use of authorised routes and authorised rest area.

Job description

- Accident reporting and investigation procedures

- Gove rnment and company laws and regulations relating to transportation

- Vehicle care, maintenance, pre-trip & post-trip inspections

- Coach and counsel drivers in case of violation on PPE compliance or as per findings of on road observations ( speeding)

- Driver Management (drivers training, driver summon with JPJ, GPS monitoring, checklist verification)

- Vehicle management (traffic summon, breakdown, repair and service, etc.)

- Record management (all relevant records/documents)

- Risk Management (emergency response plan, HIRARC, etc.)

- To liaise with authority’s agency such PDRM, SPAD and JPJ during any accident.

Shipping Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating and following up on incoming and outgoing shipments/deliveries with suppliers and forwarders.

2. Liaising with forwarders, shipping agents, customs, relevant government authorities, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of shipments.

3. Proficiency in handling customs forms and other documentation related to shipping procedures and tariff codes.

4. Advising and providing solutions to the Manager on shipment-related issues, working closely with forwarders/agents, customs officers, and relevant government authorities (e.g., DOH).

5. Comparing freight charges and recommending the best options for approval.

6. Checking and confirming customs declaration forms.

7. Preparing and internally distributing packing lists and arrival notices to all relevant parties.

8. Computing on-cost for each shipment upon arrival.

9. Proper filing of shipment clearance records, purchasing and inventory records.

10. Ensure labelling compliance of importation and food regulation.

Job Requirement:

Your Role:

• Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks

You Are:
