Main Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and increase overall productivity. Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve overall process reliability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that manufacturing processes meet or exceed quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on the selection of equipment and technology for new processes.
• Ensure the successful transfer of new processes from development to production
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and address any breakdowns promptly.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process parameters.
• Generate regular reports on key metrics, process performance, and improvement initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, to achieve common goals.
• Additional duties & responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Requirement

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process optimization and improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Excellent technical & interpersonal skills, resourceful and team player.
• Experience in fully / semi-automated manufacturing environment, familiarity with various manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies. PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Self-motivated, ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills, Excellent communication, and Technical reporting skills.
• Proficient in the use of relevant software tools, working knowledge of Solidworks, Auto Cad
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years’ experience in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize technologies such as ML, deep learning, statistics and operation research, and mechanism modelling to design and analyze processes in the field of smart manufacturing, including data exploration, model construction, and algorithm selection.
• Simultaneously apply data analysis techniques to thefollowing applications: industrial inspection, defect classification, predictive maintenance, intelligent tuning, and parameter optimization.
• Creating IP Property Rights in Singapore
• Ability to establish relationships with local universities or research institutions, integrate resources, and initiate new projects.
• Establish clear technical reports and collaborate with internal cross functional teams.
• Understand the needs and issues of business group production and integrate research and development results into the production line.

Requirments:

• Experience in publishing papers related to machine learning, deep learning, or data analysis.
• Familiar with various machine learning or data analysis tools or suites: Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, OpenCV, etc.
• Having knowledge related to distributed computing. For example, various technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
• Bonus requirement - Experience in manufacturing practice, software development, digital twin simulation, and mechanism modelling is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
