The role assists the Head of department in the continuous improvement of the work of the department and related works, manage cross-departmental projects and assist in data-backed decision-making and strategy.
Responsibilities
· Support the evidence-based planning, development, implementation, and/or improvement of clinical ID services and associated projects in line with national public health policies and organisational goals to meet the healthcare needs of the population
· Support the conceptualisation of new or review of existing workflows/processes to optimise the efficiency and quality of care delivery
· Support the engagement of multidisciplinary stakeholders and integration/harmonisation of diverse requirements and perspectives to achieve patient centred care and organisational effectiveness
· Support projects/activities relating to resource management (e.g. equipment procurement and maintenance, manpower planning), infrastructure enhancement, IT system readiness and change management, as well as capability building (e.g. training, drills)
· Perform operational data collection, analysis and trending to inform decision-making
· Provide operational and surge support during outbreak/incident management, including going beyond routine work responsibilities and office hours if necessary
· Any other relevant projects/activities/duties at unit, department, or division/organisational levels as assigned
· Supervise and develop executive and non-executive staff in Clinical Operations team
· Support Head of Department in ensuring that all key performance indicators are met for the above
· Lead the operations lead for continuous quality improvement projects/ collaborative programmes
· Accountable for operations support and responsible for financial and performance metrics.
· Assist to respond to changes in needs and trends in these KPIs in order to maintain smooth operations
· Provide secretariat and administrative support for discussions, workgroup meetings and routine reports (e.g. minutes-taking, venue sourcing)
· Bed Management and patient tracking - in direct liaison with the operations of patient flow
· Contact / Call Center operations –operates the tele-health technology together with their IT/Tech team
· Drive professional matters for Medical staff including managing Visiting Consultant appointments, Medical Attachments and Service and Quality Component processes, in close collaboration with Human Resources.
· Manage doctors related matters, including secretariat support meetings, management of doctors’ roster
· Respond to doctors/patients’ queries and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements
· Minimum Bachelor's Degree
· At least 5 years of related experience in healthcare
· Experience in related areas (e.g. healthcare, value-driven care, clinical operations, clinical services, clinical coordinator, data analytics, audit) would be advantageous
· Able to manage a team and possess good leadership skills
· Able to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills
· Data savvy and proficient with systems thinking
