About the role:
We are looking for an Account Manager focused on laboratories and reagents to enhance our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, skilled in building lasting relationships within the scientific and medical communities. Roles and responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Identify potential sales leads and develop strategies to approach and secure new business.
- Understand the competitive landscape and position our laboratory products and reagents effectively to maximize sales potential.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients in the laboratory and scientific sectors.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their needs are met with prompt and effective solutions.
- Provide technical consultations and support to clients, demonstrating how our products can meet their specific scientific and operational needs.
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Life Science, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or related field with understanding of Life Science lab workflows. Master’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline can be advantageous.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience with proven track record in technical sales, ideally with a focus on laboratory products, reagents, or related scientific instruments.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical reagents, their properties, applications, and handling, especially as they relate to laboratory environments. Experience with analytical techniques and laboratory equipment that utilize various reagents.
- Highly motivated, target driven and strong negotiation skills with a history of closing deals successfully and forming long-term business relationships.
- Skilled at quickly identifying and addressing customer issues within the sales process or product application, ensuring solutions are both scientifically sound and tailored to meet specific customer needs effectively.
