About the Role

ZES is currently seeking a junior analog designer to join our team and help us revolutionise the industry. The analog designer will collaborate with other IC designers to work on different analog IC designs for various applications including commercial, automotive and space.

Key Responsibilities

• Fast development of analog IC physical designs, including layout drawing, design rule checks (DRCs), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS)
• Layout extractions and analysis for IC designers
• Develop analog and/or digital library cells in various technologies (e.g. Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) & Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI))
• Layout digital cells for various trade-offs (including speed, power, area, reliability)
• Layout analog circuits and input and output (I/O) circuits
• Characterize digital cell cells for timing and power analyses
• Construct test structures for validating various digital and analog cells
• Layout integration and optimization
• Advise IC designers for best layout practice
• Work with the IC design team to deliver IC physical designs
• Support the team lead for layout design integrations
• Any other duties assigned

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Masters in electrical engineering or a related field
• Strong experience in analog IC design, particularly bandgap, amplifier, comparator, low-dropout regulator (LDO), current sensing, power switch, etc
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cadence, Spectre, HSPICE, and Matlab.
• Familiarity with CMOS, BiCMOS, and other process technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in analog IC design with 2 IC product tapeouts
• Some understanding of circuit analysis and implementation
• Strong expertise in power management, including DC/DC converter design
• Able to perform design verifications
• Is a good team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to think critically and is results oriented

Measures of Success

• Physical Design - Collaborate with layout engineer(s) to successfully deliver physical IC designs meeting specifications
• IC circuit design - Demonstrate understanding of implemented circuits and assist IC designers with design verifications

· Responsible for production of 2D shop drawings, details, Isometric drawings and part list

· Assist 3D modeler to develop shop drawings and detail drawings

· Prepare Isometric drawings for QA/QC

· Maintain, updates and makes amendments to drawings as needed

· Ensure the drawings comply with specifications and company standards

· Ensure the proper indexing, filing and storage of drawings

· Prepare documents and transmittal form for submissions

· Consult with Lead in the project planning on necessary details in the preparation of drawings

· Any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

· ITE / Diploma Qualification

· At least 2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage

· Knowledge in MS office and 3D drafting in the use of CATIA design software

· Meticulous, self-motivated, self-disciplined and team player

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain web-based SaaS Products or web applications and/or their relevant design systems, documenting guidelines and patterns to ensure consistency across all
• Lead the design process from concept to market, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience within design constraints
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the Product is intuitive, of high quality and relevant to the users
• Stay updated on emerging design tools, trends and technologies

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years experience in Product Design for web-based SaaS Products in the B2B space
• Fundamental understanding of design principles, user-centered design, UX & HCI practices, attention to detail
• Experience with Product Development methodologies, Adobe Creative Cloud’s suite of products (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) and product design tools like Figma and Sketch
• Able to rapidly ideate and produce concepts, designs and graphics against design constraints and work collaboratively with team members and internal / external users
• Ability to articulate effectively design decisions made and present to users or stakeholders by leveraging on quantitative and qualitative feedback
• Interest in design, user automation, artificial intelligence and willing to do the relevant research to solve difficult user problems, resolving issues independently or with the team
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Arts, Science or equivalent working experience in related field
