• Co-lead or lead CCAs, school-wide initiative/events including improvement & innovation processes, bridging programmes, committees, etc.

Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for up to 4 classes of General Paper and/or Project Work for either the JC1 or JC2 level
2. Be part of a department committee looking into one or two of the following areas: content development, assessment & standards, and remediation & enrichment
3. Be part of the year-end Project Work assessment
4. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
5. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
6. Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
7. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
8. In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and/or committee
9. Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
10. Any other duties assigned by the School

• A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
• A Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) required
• Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old
• Willing to work in teams and should possess a willingness to learn
