The Role

Reporting to Assistant Finance Director, the Senior Analyst will be involved in reviewing operational and financial result and forecasts, and preparation of management analysis and presentation materials. In this role, you will also support the long-range business planning and financial modelling for the Group, assist in business monitoring, review the analysts’ reports, update consensus comparison and competitors benchmarking, and contribute in ad hoc corporate projects. The individual is expected to work and collaborate with various stakeholders, including external and internal parties.

• Review and analyse monthly operational and financial reports, covering all major regions/ platforms and business units.
• Review and analyse performance against relevant comparison periods (vs Budget, vs Prior Year, vs Forecast)
• Assist in the preparation of management presentation materials for senior management.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting exercise, including enhancement of the workflow and process.
• Assist in the update of the group wide financial model, including the tracking of business performance against annual budget and the long-range business plan.
• Work with Investor Relations and other relevant stakeholders to review analysts’ reports and update of consensus workings.

Your Profile

• A well-recognised university degree in the areas of finance, business, actuarial science or applied finance.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experipence in financial analysis function, preferably from corporate finance function in the private equity/investment firm or from real estate, asset/fund management industry.
• Strong MS Excel skills: able to analyse large datasets using Excel.
• Meticulous with details and accurate with numbers.
• Possess a strong analytical mind, results-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Scope:

• Provide analytical support to Senior Finance Manager, Asia
• Responsible for financial planning and analysis support
• Consolidate, review, and analyze to provide concise and relevant commentary when required.
• Create backup schedules to support/detail designated consolidation schedules/topics for Senior Management Review.

Job Requirement
