Your new role
You will be supporting fee earners with all aspects of legal secretarial support. You will be joining an existing and experienced team of secretaries. Duties will include but not limited to:

➡️ Preparation, checking and proofreading correspondence.
➡️ Typing and completing legal forms and setting up legal forms from a precedent.
➡️ Taking accurate telephone messages for your fee earner.
➡️ Diary management for fee earners booking appointments on Outlook.
➡️ Maintaining client files.
➡️ General office admin, including photocopying and filing.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will need extensive secretarial experience, ideally legal or professional services secretarial experience, together with great communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload. You will need to be proficient in the Microsoft packages.

This is a newly created role to join an industrious and fast-paced team. You will be required to provide efficient and proactive legal secretarial support for property and residential conveyancing fee earners. Duties include but not limited to:

• Secretarial and administrative support, including, preparing correspondence, copying, scanning and drafting, amending, formatting, and checking complex legal documents.
• Completion and submission of Land Registry applications as well as monitoring outstanding applications.
• Property searches via online portal.
• Audio and copy typing.
• Diarising and keeping track of key dates.
• Maintaining filing systems both paper and electronic.
• Answering incoming calls and liaising with clients.
• Dealing with telephone enquiries as and when they arise.
• Administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, producing and binding engrossment documents, arranging meetings and co-ordinating diaries, franking post and printing correspondence.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you must have previous (Conveyancing) LEGAL admin or secretarial experience together with the ability to manage your own workloads and work at pace. You will need to have strong IT, coordination and administrative skills.

Provide receptionist services for clients at their site.  

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the client's staff to assist with front office

• Answer incoming telephone calls and forward to the appropriate person

• Take accurate and complete messages for those who are unavailable

• Promptly greet and announce visitors in a friendly and business-like manner

• Maintain a neat and organized reception desk and front lobby area

• Order and stock supplies as needed

• Schedule conference rooms and guest offices

• Assist with audio visual set-ups for meetings

• Order lunches for meetings and office events

• Assist with planning, preparations, and customer service at client events

• Perform other administrative duties as requested

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1-year of customer service experience in a professional setting, preferably in a Reception role

• Ability to multitask with attention to detail

• Ability to handle complaints with professionalism, patience, and diplomacy

• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

• Preferred Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday

The Compensation range for this role is 18.29 to 26.49USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.

The Senior Contracts Manager supports the US Sales organization by providing expertise in negotiating and drafting a variety of business to business contracts as a part of the US Legal Contract Management team.  Develops, reviews, negotiates and approves non-standard contractual terms and conditions. Responsible for end to end contract negotiation for edits and custom contract terms requested by customers, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders. Educates sales organization by providing risk analysis of contractual terms and exceptions.  Maintains ongoing records of contract assignments and participates in ongoing process improvement initiatives. What You'll Do:

• Development and fulfillment of contract requirements and terms in the sale/delivery of information services; authorized to draft, review, approve and negotiate diverse variety of customer contracts, contract amendments and extensions.

• Responsible for directing, project managing and negotiating customer contracts. Project management includes facilitating and consolidating multiple sources of information into a comprehensive contract inclusive of all stakeholder input.

• Combines business and legal expertise to create innovative custom contract solutions to meet business objectives; evaluates and interprets contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations, applying and recommending best practices.

• Provides guidance on contractual terms, policies and procedures to sales organization, project managers and other operational/legal support staff, including training on contracting practices and procedures.

• Works directly with Risk Management Department / Finance / Security to coordinate and facilitate contractual requirements and performs contract risk analysis and escalates strategic contracts to senior Legal resources as applicable.

• Participates in department projects; recommends, contributes to and may lead process improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of related legal contract review experience

The Role:

The Legal Department is looking for a Legal Specialist to join our team here in St. Cloud, MN. This resource will support the Legal Department with assisting the team and to partner in managing of daily operations.  This includes the monitoring of automated and manual processes to ensure the proper handling of outsourced accounts, as well as the participation in projects / analysis as needed and provide and communicate performance, initiative, and / or process results. This position requires adherence to complex process requirements and directions.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and assess legal documents, validate accuracy and take requisite action; identification and resolution of data or content discrepancies through utilization of internal and external resources in a timely manner
• Retrieve, print and attach appropriate media

Supporting the Government Solutions and Sales business, the Senior Legal Counsel manage many different subjects and a high volume of legal requests, while delivering quality legal advice / analyses.

Your role:

• Advising Government Solutions and the Business Units on various compliance areas of growing importance including, but not limited to, cybersecurity, Buy American and Trade Agreements Acts, airworthiness, and areas subject to changes and updates by the new administration. 

• Advising government sales, government contract managers and commercial contract managers on federal, state and local deals.

• Creating templates and negotiating subcontract agreements for Philips Research.

• Maintaining an in-house bid protest practice.

• Developing and delivering internal training materials to sales force, supply chain and legal personnel on government contract and compliance-related topics.

You're the right fit if:

• You have a J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to a state bar.

• 10+ years of in-house or law firm experience and 7+ years in-depth government procurement experience;

• You've an extensive background in acquisitions conducted by federal and state agencies. Experience must include:

  • Applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, VAARs and other agency supplements to the award, administration, and close-out of federal contracts;

  • Analyzing issues related to GSA Schedule contracts, including those administered by the VA;

  • Responding to solicitations;

  • Buy American and Trade Agreements Act compliance;

  • Commercial item contracting;

  • MBE/SBE/WBE subcontracting;

  • Cost-reimbursement contracting;

  • Teaming agreements; and

  • Bid protests

• Experience providing successful commercial and transactional support (including, e.g., drafting and negotiating subcontracts and commercial contracts).

• Demonstrated negotiation and drafting skills in complex corporate and commercial transactions and capable of coordinating the legal and general corporate policy support in those transactions.

Job Summary

A media relations intern will work on the East media push, covering news for Southeast Michigan with the goal of elevating Corewell Health’s reputation locally, regionally and nationally. Through coaching from an APR-credentialed professional, the intern will be able to build their portfolio with both written assets and hands-on experience such as press conferences, events and other activities. They will learn the start-to-finish approach to successfully promoting a media story including story mining; interviewing SMEs; writing release/pitch/media advisory; researching and targeting reporters, outlets and producers; and many other day-to-day facets of a great media relations effort. The intern would have the opportunity to pitch national media as appropriate as well as news across the State.

Essential Functions

• Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.

• Supports onsite media events and interacting with media partners.

• Looking for story ideas, meeting with SMEs across the system, writing press releases, sending press releases, pitching media.

• Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.

• May support department processes and makes recommendations for improvements, as appropriate.

• Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.

• Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
