Position Title: Business Development Mgr.
Role Purpose: We are seeking a Business Development Manager who possesses a genuine passion for digital marketing to manage all client relationships from inbound lead to proposal, all the way through to close.
The position is responsible for driving revenue by developing strategic solutions for clients. This individual is responsible for, but not limited to, cultivating leads for the sales pipeline, developing proposals to gain new business, leading the ongoing service and relationship with clients and meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals in line with the sales plan. He/she should have the abilities to analyse problems and develop creative solutions to them. With a relentlessly positive outlook and outstanding energy, combine with the ability to really listen to and empathize with clients to build trust
Key Accountabilities
- Drive performance and identify achievements as well as areas of focus.
- Close new projects, as well as develop, maintain excellent, strong relationships with our clients and align with customer leadership.
- Drive opportunities from inception to completion and manage the flow of projects, communicate with clients to keep all projects running in an efficient manner. Deliver on-time, on-scope and on-budget projects to client.
- Leads development,communication and implementation of executes sales strategies and tactics which result in exceeding revenue targets in digital vertical and by accounts.
- Proactively identify, prospect and pursue new business to achieve revenue targets
- Develop strategies, attends sales calls and meetings to create net new opportunities from both existing and new accounts, maximize existing accounts.
- Works with Account and clients developing results driven marketing solutions across, multiple platforms.
- Create and implement your own personal outbound lead strategy
- Run meetings with clients and relay all important information to the appropriate teams
- Drive collaboration between all internal groups to deliver on sales quota
- Leverages CRM tools to buildnew business plans, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
- Generates sales proposals for distribution to prospects
- Identify sales growth opportunities,analyzing market conditions, and partners with management teams and representatives to develop and implement innovative action plans
Person Specification
- 4++ years business development experience and a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in an agency environment. Preferably in the Digital field.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from strategy to close; develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Track record of consultative and idea-based sales experience
- History of gaining access to high-level decision-makers
- Commission offered based on confirmed contracts
