Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of daily accounting jobs for the HQ and child care centres in operation including journal entries, AR, AP, GL and FA
• Setup new student enrollment accounts in accounting system
• Manage monthly school fee billing and collection, government subsidy and operation expenses
• Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts, reconcile monthly student subsidy, financial reports, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management and expense control
• Develop, implement and enforce accounting policies, processes, and internal control in the organisation
• Prepare and manage quarterly GST filings, annual tax returns and employee tax filings, and tax credits, claims or grants from IRAS
• Assist in the preparation and submission of annual financial statements and handle other accounting related functions and regulatory matters
• Assist with other maintenance and support work

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum diploma in accounting/finance related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in General Accounting (GA) function
• Bilingual
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• IT skill of using accounting software and office software
• High integrity, positive working attitude, strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and a team player
